SENIORITY OF STEWARDS. 47 - Notwithstanding their position on the seniority list, Stewards shall in the event of a layoff of any type be continued at work as long as there is work in their district which they can perform and shall be recalled to work in the event of a layoff to the first vacancy in their district which they can perform.
SENIORITY OF STEWARDS. Notwithstanding their positions on the seniority list, stewards in the event of a layoff of any type shall be continued at work as long as there is a job in their department for which they qualify and shall be recalled to work in the event of a layoff on the first open job in their department for which they qualify. This provision shall apply only during the xxxxxxx'x term of office. Once the person leaves the office, he/she shall return to his/her original position on the seniority and/or layoff list.
SENIORITY OF STEWARDS. Notwithstanding their position on the seniority list, stewards shall, in the event of a layoff, be employed as long as there is a job for which they are capable and qualified to perform and shall be recalled on the first open job in the unit for which they are capable and qualified to perform.
SENIORITY OF STEWARDS. In the event of a layoff only, the Unit Chairman shall continue to be employed as long as jobs remain in their classification requiring their services. Stewards shall, in the event of a layoff, be credited with one (1) year of additional seniority with regard to job retention, providing that they have the ability to do the work available.

Not withstanding their position on the seniority list, Stewards and the Local President shall, in the event of a layoff of any type, be continued at work as long as there is a job in the district which they can perform and shall be recalled to work, after a layoff, on the first job in the district which they have successfully performed in the past.
SENIORITY OF STEWARDS. For the purpose of layoff and recall only, Stewards (and not officers or alternate stewards) shall head the seniority list during their term of office. The Union acknowledges that the Employer is not obligated to “make work” for such Stewards and that such employees must have the necessary skill and experience to satisfactorily perform the required work.

Notwithstanding their position on the seniority list, stewards and bargaining chairperson shall, in the event of a layoff of any type, be continued at work as long as there is a job in the College which they can perform and shall be recalled to work in the event of a layoff on the first open job in the College which they can perform.

(a) Notwithstanding their position on the seniority lists, the Unit Chairperson and Stewards shall in the event of a layoff be continued at work as long as there is a job which they are able to perform and any of their respective constituents still are at work, and shall be recalled to work after the layoff as soon as there is a job which they are able to perform and any of their respective constituents have been recalled to work.
(b) Should a Unit Chairperson or Xxxxxxx resign or not be re-elected, they shall return to the shift, provided they have sufficient seniority, from which they were transferred. (c02)
