Short Course Training. Description (a) Short Course Training means Fast Rescue Craft Training, HUET/FOET/BOSIET/CA- EBS, HLO, HDFF, Confined Space Entry, Working at Heights, and Gas Testing and Rescue at Heights training. (b) Short Course Training does not include any induction/s, Union training, Employer workshops, Employer meetings, Employer training, revalidation or upgrading of an AMSA Certificate of Competency or an AMSA Certificate of Proficiency (c) The Employer will arrange the Short Course Training, travel arrangements, accommodation arrangements and any victualing expenses in relation to the Short Course Training. (d) Short Course Training will be determined based on the requirements identified in the Company Training matrix of the Vessel and/or the project the Employee is allocated to. (e) Where an Employee has attended training, inductions (including online), Employer/ client meetings, the Employer will pay the Employee a Dead Day at the Aggregate Salary for each day including any travel time, unless joining the vessel on the day of training, or the day prior in which case payment will be a Duty Day or Travel Day respectively. (f) If an Employee resigns from or abandons their employment within twelve months of undertaking Employer-funded Short Course Training, the Employee will reimburse the Employer the total costs of such training.
Short Course Training. (a) Short Course Training means STCW refresher training, DP operator training, DP operator revalidation, and biannual DP continued performance development training, electronic charting display information system training and Fast Rescue Craft Training, helicopter underwater escape training /further offshore emergency training/basic offshore safety induction and emergency training/ Compressed Air emergency breathing system training , helideck landing officer training, helideck fire fighting training, Confined Space Entry, Working at Heights, and Gas Testing and Rescue at Heights training. (b) Short Course Training does not include any induction/s, union training, Employer workshops, Employer meetings, Employer training, revalidation or upgrading of an AMSA Certificate of Competency or an AMSA Certificate of Proficiency, or revalidating or upgrading a Master or Deck Officer Grade of certificate listed in Schedule 1 of MO71. (c) The Employer will pay the course costs and reasonable travel accommodation and victualing expenses in relation to employer approved Short Course Training where the Employee is required to be away from their Home Port to undertake the training.
Short Course Training. (a) For the purpose of this Agreement, Short Course Training means any training that does not involve an AMSA Certificate of Competency. (b) Short Course Training includes (but is not limited to) DP maintenance, the Automation Electronics and Electrical course, and BOSIET. Short Course training will be determined in accordance with the requirements identified in the Vessel Training Matrix of the Vessel, the Employee is allocated to. (c) Computer based online training is an appropriate method of training delivery. Employer- approved online training performed while onboard the Vessel will be performed within rostered work time. Employer-approved online training performed while on leave will be paid as a Dead Day consistent with this clause 20.2 (Short Course Training). (d) The Employer will pay course costs and reasonable travelling, accommodation and victualing expenses incurred by an Employee in relation to Employer-approved Short Course Training. (e) Subject to subclause 20.2(f), Permanent Employees will be paid a Dead Day for each day spent attending Short Course Training (inclusive of travel). (f) Permanent Employees may be required to attend Short Course Training for up to four days per annum (inclusive of travel) for which there will be no payment of a Dead Day. The four days per annum may be accumulated from year to year and used at any time within a three-year period.

  • First Aid Training In the interests of the occupational safety and health of employees, the Employer will undertake an in-service program of first aid training aimed at providing a first aid officer for each department.

  • Safety Training Pursuant to Missouri Revised Statute Section 292.675, Contractors and subcontractors who sign a contract to work on public works projects must provide a 10-hour OSHA construction safety program, or similar program approved by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, to be completed by their on-site employees within sixty (60) days of beginning work on the construction project. Contractors and subcontractors in violation of this provision will forfeit to the public body $2,500 plus $100 a day for each employee who is employed without training. Public bodies and contractors may withhold/assess these penalties from the payment due to those contractors and subcontractors if found to be in non-compliance.

  • Training Courses The Employer shall bulletin any training courses and experimental programs for which employees may be selected. The bulletin shall contain the following information: (a) type of course (subjects and material to be covered), (b) time, duration and location of the course, (c) basic minimum qualifications required for applicants. This bulletin shall be posted for a period of two (2) weeks on bulletin boards in all Departments to afford all interested employees an opportunity to apply for such training. The senior qualified applicant shall be selected.

  • Employee Training The Provider shall provide periodic security training to those of its employees who operate or have access to the system. Further, Provider shall provide LEA with contact information of an employee who LEA may contact if there are any security concerns or questions.

  • Staff Training 3.3.5.1 The CONTRACTOR shall provide regular and ongoing comprehensive training for CONTRACTOR staff to ensure that they understand the goals of Centennial Care 2.0, including the integration of physical, Long-Term Care and Behavioral Health, the provisions and limitations of the ABP and the requirements of this Agreement. As issues are identified by the CONTRACTOR and/or HSD, the CONTRACTOR shall provide timely and targeted training to staff. 3.3.5.2 The CONTRACTOR shall provide an initial orientation and training as well as ongoing training, including training targeted to different types of staff, to ensure compliance with this Agreement. Including targeted training regarding: 3.3.5.2.1 Care Coordination; 3.3.5.2.2 Nursing Facility Level of Care Determinations; 3.3.5.2.3 Setting of Care Submissions; 3.3.5.2.4 Community Benefit Services and Supplemental Questionnaire; and

  • Technical Training The CAISO and the Participating TOs shall respond to reasonable requests for support and provide relevant technical training to each other’s employees to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the CAISO Controlled Grid and to comply with any NERC or WECC operator certification or training requirements. Examples of such technical training include, but are not limited to: (1) the theory or operation of new or modified equipment (e.g., control systems, Remedial Action Schemes, protective relays); (2) computer and applicator programs; and (3) CAISO (or Participating TO) requirements. The Parties shall enter into agreements regarding the timing, term, locations, and cost allocation for the training.

  • Maintenance Training 16.8.1 The Seller will provide maintenance training for the Buyer’s ground personnel as further set forth in Appendix A to this Clause 16. The available courses will be as listed in the Seller’s Customer Services Catalog current at the time of the course. The practical training provided in the frame of maintenance training will be performed on the training devices in use in the Seller’s Training Centers.

  • Orientation and Training A transferring employee will be orientated separately to both or their new home in accordance with Article 20 the collective agreement of the designated employer.

  • Cooperation with Inspector General Grantee understands its duty, pursuant to Section 20.055(5), Fla. Stat., to cooperate with Florida Housing’s Inspector General in any investigation, audit, inspection, review, or hearing. Grantee will comply with this duty and ensure that any contracts issued under this Agreement impose this requirement, in writing, on its subcontractors.

  • Compliance with Procurement Laws This Contract is the result of compliance with applicable procurement laws of the State of Texas. DIR issued a solicitation on the Comptroller of Public Accounts’ Electronic State Business Daily, Request for Offer (RFO) DIR-TSO-TMP-225, on February 27, 2015, for Software, including Software as a Service, Products and Related Services. Upon execution of this Contract, a notice of award for RFO DIR-TSO-TMP-225 shall be posted by DIR on the Electronic State Business Daily.
