Sick Day Allowance/Accumulation/Use. Substitute drivers who are filling a vacancy of a full time driver for a twenty (20) working day period or longer shall be entitled to use sick days while on such assignment, and shall not lose the opportunity to return to the assignment.

The purpose of sick leave accumulation for substitute drivers is: a) to allow accumulation in the event of placement to full time driver status, and/or b) to allow accumulation in the event of termination in good standing of the substitute driver.

Full time drivers will return to their own job. Full time drivers will be paid at the drivers guaranteed hours based on their regular route or 5 hours whichever is greater for each sick leave day used. The foregoing shall be credited to each employee at the start of each semester. Substitute drivers shall be allowed one (1) day sick leave for each fifteen (15) days work but not to exceed twelve (12) per school year.   • Vacation Accumulation (a) Vacations are not cumulative from year to year.

  • Sick Leave Accumulation a. All unused days of sick leave at full pay for all employees, shall accumulate to a maximum of two hundred ten (210) days. Such sick leave benefits so accrued will be usable after the annual full days allowed, and prior to any half pay benefits.

  • Maximum Accumulation Maximum accumulation amounts apply only to the amount of annual leave that may be carried over from one leave year to the next, and do not limit accumulated leave balances during the leave year.

  • Vacation Accrual Rates Laid off employees who are re-employed shall have the vacation accrual rate they held immediately prior to layoff restored.

  • Annual Leave Accrual If an employee leaves State Classified employment and is later rehired, he/she shall accrue annual leave at the same rate as a new hire. However, once a rehired employee has been in pay status for five (5) years, all previous service time shall be credited for annual leave accrual. The only exception shall be for employees rehired who repay severance pay received.

  • Vacation Leave Accrual ‌ After a full-time employee has been in pay status for eighty (80) non-overtime hours in a calendar month, the employee will accrue vacation leave according to the rate schedule below. Vacation leave accrual for part-time employees will be proportionate to the number of hours the part-time employee is in pay status during the month to that required for full-time employment.

  • Retirement Allowance Prior to issuing notice of layoff pursuant to article 9.08(a)(ii) in any classification(s), the Hospital will offer early-retirement allowance to a sufficient number of employees eligible for early retirement under HOOPP within the classification(s) in order of seniority, to the extent that the maximum number of employees within a classification who elect early retirement is equivalent to the number of employees within the classification(s) who would otherwise receive notice of layoff under article 9.08(a)(ii). An employee who elects an early retirement option shall receive, following completion of the last day of work, a retirement allowance of two (2) weeks' salary for each year of service, plus a prorated amount for any additional partial year of service, to a maximum ceiling of fifty-two (52) weeks' salary.
