Site Visits of Union Representatives. Duly authorized full-time representatives of the Union shall be entitled to visit the sites for the purpose of observing working conditions, interviewing members and unsigned employees and to ensure that the terms of the Collective Agreement are being implemented. The interview of an employee by a Union Representative shall be permitted and shall be: 1. Carried on in a place on the site designated by Management. 2. Held whenever possible during the lunch period. However, if this not practical, during regular working hours. Time taken for such interview in excess of five (5) minutes shall not be on company time, unless with the approval of Management. Union representatives shall be permitted to review the Hours of Work Schedule and in the event of any discrepancies they shall be presented under Section 17 of this Agreement.

Site Visits of Union Representatives. Duly authorized Representatives of the Union shall be authorized to visit the employer’s offices for the purpose of observing working conditions, interviewing members, and to ensure that the terms of the Collective Agreement are being implemented. Union Representatives will notify the employer at least 2 days prior to attending the site. In the case of emergency, the Union Representative will inform management of the unscheduled site visit.

Café visits will not be unreasonably rescheduled. The interview of an employee by a Union Representative, while on duty, is not to exceed fifteen (15) minutes in duration. Interviews may exceed fifteen (15) minutes at the discretion of the Employer. The Union Representatives will meet with the members on their breaks where possible and in a way to not interrupt sales and service. Union Representatives shall be permitted to check employee time records including work schedules. It is understood that the Union Representative may attempt to resolve problems through Café Management prior to referring a matter to the grievance procedure. Union Representatives shall be permitted access to all worksites for the purposes of conducting elections for Shop Stewards and Health and Safety Committee Members.

Such visits shall not interfere with the normal operations of the worksite. Reasonable accommodation will be made to allow the Presidents of the Unions to have access to union members to conduct union business.

  • Staff Representatives A. The Union will provide the Employer with a written list of staff representatives and the bargaining unit for which they are responsible. The Union will provide written notice to the Employer of any changes within thirty (30) calendar days of the changes. B. Staff representatives may have access to the Employer’s offices or facilities to carry out representational activities. The representatives will notify the Employer prior to their arrival and will not interrupt the normal operations of the Employer. The staff representative may meet with bargaining unit employees in non-work areas during the employee’s meal periods, rest periods, and before and after the employee’s shift. C. The Employer’s written Board of Trustee or administrative policies pertaining to employees represented by the Union will be made available to staff representatives.

  • Association Representatives Authorized representatives of the Association shall be permitted to transact Association business on and with school property at all reasonable times provided that such activities shall not interfere with normal school operations.

  • Parties’ Representatives Both Parties shall ensure that throughout the term of this Agreement, a duly appointed Representative is available for communications between the Parties. The Representatives shall have full authority to deal with all day-to-day matters arising under this Agreement. If a Party’s Representative becomes unavailable, the Party shall promptly appoint another Representative. Acts and omissions of Representatives shall be deemed to be acts and omissions of the Party. Owner and CAISO shall be entitled to assume that the Representative of the other Party is at all times acting within the limits of the authority given by the Representative’s Party. Owner’s Representatives and CAISO’s Representatives shall be identified on Schedule J.
