Store Visits of Union Representatives. Duly authorized full-time Representatives of the Union shall be entitled to visit the stores for the purpose of observing working conditions, interviewing members, unsigned employees, and to ensure that the terms of the Collective Agreement are being implemented. The interview of an employee by a Union Representative shall be permitted after notifying the Store Manager, or whoever is in charge, and shall be:
A. Carried on in a place in the store designated by Management.
B. Held whenever possible during the lunch period; however, if this not practical,
C. During regular working hours. Time taken for such an interview in excess of five (5) minutes shall not be on Employer time, unless with the approval of Management.
D. Held at such times as will not interfere with service to the public. Union Representatives shall be permitted to check employee time records including work schedules and, in the event of any discrepancies, they shall be presented under Section 17 of this Agreement. It is understood the Union Representative may attempt to resolve problems through the Store Management prior to implementation of Section 17.

(4) Held at such times as will not interfere with service to the public. No interview shall be held on Friday, Saturday or any day after 4:00 p.m., or on the day preceding a statutory holiday, except in cases of employees who only work Fridays, Saturdays or after 3:30 p.m. Union representatives shall be permitted to review the Hours of Work Schedule and in the event of any discrepancies they shall be presented under Section 18 of this Agreement.

The Union Representative shall notify a member of excluded management of their attendance on site where an excluded manager is present in the store. The store visit of a union representative shall not unreasonably interfere or disrupt business operations. Union Representatives shall be permitted to check employee time records including work schedules. It is understood that the Union Representative may attempt to resolve problems through Store Management prior to referring a matter to the grievance procedure.

It is understood the Union Representative may attempt to resolve problems through the Store Management prior to invoking the grievance procedure.
Store Visits of Union Representatives. In the event that an arrangement is reached between the Union Representative and the Store Manager, the arrangement must be agreed to by the Business Agent and Director of Human Resources before it is implemented. SIGNED THIS 13TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER , 1995 .
