Student Health. The School shall provide appropriate first aid care for ill and injured students. The School may recommend that parents seek the help of medical professionals or appropriate health agencies for cases beyond its scope of responsibility.
Student Health. The name of a student having a health impairment, with the impairment stated, shall be given to a bargaining unit member coming in contact with that student during the school day, unless restrictions are present, in writing, from his/her parent(s). No bargaining unit member will be required to administer first aid or medication prescribed for a student. "In loco parentis" responsibility requires that a bargaining unit member exercise responsible action when confronted with a life-threatening situation.
Student Health. I accept that my admittance / continuance in the University will be dependent upon my submission to and undergoing of a medical examination including blood borne virus tests, policy which is at Annex [B], immunizations and any other appropriate medical tests as required by the University. This is in accordance with the mandate of the Ministry of Health in Bahrain. • I also acknowledge that I am required to be tested for the Blood Borne Viruses in my home country prior to attending the University. I acknowledge that these must be repeated in Bahrain and that should I test positive for any of these viruses, I will not be able to continue with my studies and if I am a non-resident of Bahrain, I will be repatriated.
Student Health. 3.2.9.1 No employee will be requested or required to dispense or administer medication unless in accordance with state law and after having received instruction/training from a District designated trainer.
3.2.9.2 Student injections shall be limited to emergency Epi-pen injections only when a student is known to be susceptible to a predetermined, life-endangering situation.
3.2.9.3 In the event of unforeseen circumstances, where the school nurse or health room assistant is unavailable, employees will cover student health needs.
3.2.9.4 Employee responsibilities for student health are limited by paragraphs a through c above.
Student Health. Each teacher will be furnished with appropriate information concerning pupil's health problems, when the information is available.
Student Health. A student who becomes ill or injured while performing the educational experience may: report to the University Health Service for treatment; seek treatment with his or her own physicians; and/or report to the emergency room/outpatient clinic of the Internship Site, if applicable. In all instances, student is ultimately responsible for payment of fees related to illness or injury.
Student Health. Children should be sent to school ready to participate in the daily activities. These include a good night’s sleep and proper breakfast. Children should be kept home if ill, which includes fever, vomiting, or diarrhea in the last 24 hours.
Student Health. School acknowledges that CoxHealth is not responsible for the personal health of the Students or for injuries sustained by Students while performing their clinical responsibilities under this Agreement.
Student Health. I accept that my admittance / continuance in the University will be dependent upon my submission of infectious disease screening results as outlined in Annex [C]. This is in accordance with the mandate of the Ministry of Health in Bahrain.
Student Health. Liberty Common shall provide hearing and vision screening in accordance with the requirements of state law and any support and accommodations for chronic health conditions required under federal and state law. Liberty Common shall further assure compliance with state law and School District policies and regulations regarding immunization of students, that medications are administered in accordance with state law, and that health services are provided in accordance with the Nurse and Nurse Aide Practice Act, C.R.S. §§ 00-000-000 et seq.
