Supervisory Time. Teachers assigned supervisory duty shall monitor student behavior, enforce school policies and regulations, maintain a safe school environment, and at the discretion of the supervising teacher, assist students in the curricular areas. Each teacher will be assigned seven supervisory periods per week with a minimum of one per day. One of the supervisory periods shall be assigned to a specific location for the purpose of office hours. Supervisory duties will be assigned for the following locations such as: Option Time/Study Hall/Academic Study, Media Center, Computer Room, Detention Center, In-School Suspension Center, Cafeteria, Hallways, and Department Centers, and specified locations for the purposes of office hours. High School department leaders may be assigned supervisory periods at the department center to perform department duties. Department duties include but are not limited to curriculum supervision and instructional help to members of their department, except personnel evaluation. High School English and social studies teachers will be assigned to department center, computer center, library duty, academic study and hallways unless the administration determines they are needed to fill other supervisory assignments. All staff will be assigned five supervisory duties before any member can be assigned a sixth supervisory duty.

Supervisory Time. Teachers shall be responsible for supervisory time, not to exceed 15 min., each morning at their respective work stations. In addition, secondary teachers may be assigned additional supervisory time (i.e., lunch room duty, breakfast duty, study lab duty).
Supervisory Time. 1. Relief from assignments All supervisors shall be relieved of all student supervisory assignments not related to the teaching assignment except homeroom and/or in cases of emergency or imminent threat of major disruption. Supervisors may be requested and will attend department specific parent evening meetings in addition to the regularly scheduled programs involving the entire teaching staff. Supervisors will be in attendance at graduation. Supervisory Time. In recognition of supervisory hours worked, i.e. pre-lineup time, all Township Police Sergeants, Lieutenants and Captains, shall receive sixteen (16) hours time off each year. This time will be referred to as "Supervisory Time" (ST). It shall not accrue and must be used in year earned or it shall be lost. No overtime may result as a consequence of any use of supervisory time and the potential of overtime occurring shall be a valid reason for denial of request for use of supervisory time.

  • Labour Management Relations Committee 20.01 The parties recognize that a forum for ongoing discussions during the term of the Agreement can promote more harmonious labour relations between them.

  • Supervisors Working (a) The work of Supervisors will not include assignment to work normally performed by employees of the bargaining unit except for training or demonstration. “Training or demonstration” shall not be used as a subterfuge for the performing of any bargaining unit work. Any claimed abuses will be referred to the Grievance Procedure. Where possible, the shop xxxxxxx will be notified. Supervisors will not perform bargaining unit work until after all rea- sonable efforts have been exhausted to have the work covered.

  • Supervisory Employees For the purposes of this Article, the parties agree that Supervisory positions are those that are not excluded under Article 2.0 above and that satisfy the following criteria:

  • Labour Management Committee (a) Where the parties mutually agree that there are matters of mutual concern and interest that would be beneficial if discussed at a Labour-Management Committee Meeting during the term of this Agreement, the following shall apply.

  • SUPERVISORY PERSONNEL All supervisors and foremen shall be excluded from the bargaining unit and will not perform any work which falls within the scope of this Agreement. When supervisors and foremen are appointed, a notice to that effect will be posted and maintained on a bulletin board.

  • Immediate Supervisor The term "immediate supervisor" as used in this Article refers to the appropriate non-bargaining unit supervisory or management person to whom the employee is accountable.

  • Supervisor A. Within ten (10) business days from the occurrence of the matter on which a complaint is based, or within ten (10) business days from his/her knowledge of such occurrence, an employee shall file a formal written grievance. Three copies of the departmental grievance form shall be completed by the employee stating the nature of the grievance and the remedy requested from his/her departmental Management. The employee shall submit two copies to his/her immediate supervisor and retain the third copy.

  • Supervisors Supervisors may continue to perform bargaining unit work which is incidental to their jobs. They may also perform bargaining unit work in emergency situations and where such work is necessary to train a covered member. Such work by supervisors may result from but shall not cause any layoffs of covered members.

  • Supervisory Authority The parties recognize the supervisor’s authority to approve or deny paid or unpaid time off based upon the operational needs of the department. Time off will be granted in a manner that minimizes operational hardship.

  • Labour Management Meetings The committee meeting shall normally be held every second month however, either party may call a meeting of the Joint Labour Management Committee. The meeting shall be held at a time and place fixed by mutual agreement but no later than fourteen (14) calendar days after the initial request, unless mutually agreed.
