Supplemental Coverage. Any eligible employee may purchase, at his/her own expense, the Short Term Disability Insurance program offered by the Employer.
Supplemental Coverage. The Port hereby agrees to the following coverage for Police Sergeants only, limited to bona fide duty disability.
(a) For the first six (6) months of a duty disability the Port shall supplement amounts paid by certain offsets to a level equal to the base pay rate of the disabled Sergeant. Such benefit program offsets include but are not limited to state, federal, or other disability programs to which the Port has contributed such as the Public Employees' Retirement System, the Federal Social Security System, the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries programs (e.g. Workers' Compensation, Pension, and lump sum disability awards), and the Long Term Disability Coverage provided under Article 24 of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
(b) In addition, the insurance premiums paid by the Port for insurance programs covered in this Labor Agreement shall continue on behalf of a Sergeant for the first six (6) months of a duty disability.
(c) This coverage is also in compliance with RCW 41.04.510.
Supplemental Coverage. Employees, depending on pre-qualification, may purchase additional term life insurance up to a maximum of $750,000 for employee, $250,000 for spouse or registered domestic partner, and $10,000 for each qualifying dependent. Applying for additional life insurance will not place a employee's current level of insurability at risk.
Supplemental Coverage. The Port hereby agrees to the following coverage for police officers only, limited to bona fide duty disability.
(a) For the first six (6) months of a duty disability the Port shall supplement amounts paid by any other benefit program (except personal disability policies not part of this Agreement that are paid for by the individual officer and except any shared leave received by the officer) to a level equal to the base pay rate of the disabled officer. Such benefit program offsets include but are not limited to state, federal, or other disability programs to which the Port has contributed such as the Public Employees' Retirement System, and time loss under the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries.
(b) In addition, the insurance premiums paid by the Port for insurance programs covered in this Labor Agreement shall continue on behalf of an officer for the first six (6) months of a duty disability.
(c) This coverage is in compliance with RCW 41.04.510.
Supplemental Coverage. The Board will provide assurance of complete compensation over and above the losses covered by the Supervisor's personal insurance for any on-site, job related damage or destruction of personal property, such as 1) personal vehicle, 2) clothing, 3) eyeglasses, 4) timepieces, and 5) any equipment which is frequently used in the normal fulfillment of the Supervisor's administrative duties and which has not been furnished by the District. Total compensation shall not exceed the replacement value of the property.
Supplemental Coverage. 8.5.1 For a period of three (3) years beginning with a retiree's sixty-fifth (65th) birthday, the District shall reimburse the retiree for the cost up to $50.00 per month for ten (10) months towards the premium of a Medicare supplement plan which has been verified by the District.
8.5.2 A pro rata share of the supplement reimbursement shall be provided to employees who worked less than full-time during their credited years of services.
Supplemental Coverage. Landlord reserves the right, should one or more claims be made against such insurance coverage to demand the Tenant promptly procure additional insurance coverage in such an amount as in Landlord’s reasonable is necessary and prudent to protect Landlord’s interest in the Building and under this agreement. A demand for additional coverage, in an amount equal to claims that have been filed and either settled, or are in litigation and with respect to which Landlord’s counsel has furnished an opinion that the Claimant has a legal cause of action which may result in the relief sought being granted, shall be deemed to be reasonable demand.
Supplemental Coverage. Teachers shall receive additional compensation for covering other duties/classes as follows:
