The Technical Secretariat. ‌ 42. The Technical Secretariat shall assist States Parties in the implementation of this Treaty. The Technical Secretariat shall assist the Conference and the Executive Council in the performance of their functions. The Technical Secretariat shall carry out the verification and other functions entrusted to it by this Treaty, as well as those functions delegated to it by the Conference or the Executive Council in accordance with this Treaty. The Technical Secretariat shall include, as an integral part, the International Data Centre. 43. The functions of the Technical Secretariat with regard to verification of compliance with this Treaty shall, in accordance with Article IV and the Protocol, include inter alia: (a) Being responsible for supervising and coordinating the operation of the International Monitoring System; (b) Operating the International Data Centre; (c) Routinely receiving, processing, analysing and reporting on International Monitoring System data; (d) Providing technical assistance in, and support for, the installation and operation of monitoring stations; (e) Assisting the Executive Council in facilitating consultation and clarification among States Parties; (f) Receiving requests for on-site inspections and processing them, facilitating Executive Council consideration of such requests, carrying out the preparations for, and providing technical support during, the conduct of on-site inspections, and reporting to the Executive Council; (g) Negotiating agreements or arrangements with States Parties, other States and international organizations and concluding, subject to prior approval by the Executive Council, any such agreements or arrangements relating to verification activities with States Parties or other States; and (h) Assisting the States Parties through their National Authorities on other issues of verification under this Treaty. 44. The Technical Secretariat shall develop and maintain, subject to approval by the Executive Council, operational manuals to guide the operation of the various components of the verification regime, in accordance with Article IV and the Protocol. These manuals shall not constitute integral parts of this Treaty or the Protocol and may be changed by the Technical Secretariat subject to approval by the Executive Council. The Technical Secretariat. 19. The Technical Secretariat shall assist the States Parties in implementing this Treaty. It shall assist the Conference and the Executive Council in the performance of their functions under the Treaty. It shall carry out the verification functions and other functions entrusted to it under the Treaty as well as those delegated to it by the Conference and the Executive Council in compliance with Treaty provisions. 20. The Technical Secretariat shall comprise a Director-General, who shall be its head and chief administrative officer. Staff shall be kept to the minimum necessary for the proper discharge of the responsibilities of the Technical Secretariat. 21. The Technical Secretariat shall be established on a provisional basis, subject to the terms and conditions laid down in an annex to this Treaty, from the date of adoption of the Treaty up to its entry into force, in order to begin the negotiation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) of a draft cooperation agreement for submission to the Conference at its first session and to the Council at its first meeting.

The Technical Secretariat. 1. The Technical Secretariat shall comprise a Director and such other members of staff as the Board may determine. 2. The Director shall be appointed by the Board on the recommendation of the Policy Advisory Committee. The Director shall serve for a period of five years and may be re- appointed. 0. Staff members of the Technical Secretariat shall be accorded the status of international bureaucrats. In the performance of their functions, they shall neither seek nor take instructions from any authority external to the Centre. Representatives of Members of the Centre shall refrain from actions tending to compromise the status of the staff of the Technical Secretariat as international bureaucrats. 5. The conditions of employment of the staff of the Technical Secretariat shall be set out in the Staff Regulations to be established under the direction of the Director.
The Technical Secretariat. 5.4.1 Support the daily operation of the NWIS program including but not limited to the following:  Manage and administrate the NWIS platform and associated databases to ensure interoperability.  Manage and administrate the NWIS Metadata Catalogue and guard its content and metadata quality.  Support the activities of thematic working groups to deliver guidelines and procedures of the NWIS framework to standardize and harmonize the data  Provide secretariat services to the SMC and TCC  Arrange support for other Partner database administrators and to help them fulfill their NWIS duties and obligations, including the continuity of the data flow from partner data resources to NWIS  Define and ensure data quality, data validation, and data integrity and consistency with related systems.  Maintain the security of data and ensure the copy rights and rules of access of stored information.

  • Secretariat 1. The secretariat established by Article 8 of the Convention shall serve as the secretariat of this Agreement. 2. Article 8, paragraph 2, of the Convention on the functions of the secretariat, and Article 8, paragraph 3, of the Convention on arrangements made for the functioning of the secretariat shall apply mutatis mutandis to this Agreement. The secretariat shall, in addition, exercise the functions assigned to it under this Agreement and by the CMA.

  • Technical Services Party B will provide technical services and training to Party A, taking advantage of Party B’s advanced network, website and multimedia technologies to improve Party A’s system integration. Such technical services shall include: (a) administering, managing and maintaining Party A’s information application system and website system infrastructure; (b) providing system optimization plans and implementing optimization features; (c) assuring the security and reliability of the website application systems; (d) procuring, installing and supporting the relevant products produced by Party B, and providing training in the use of those products; (e) managing and maintaining all network and providing technologies to assure the reliability and efficiency thereof; (f) providing information technology services and assuring the reliable operation of the information infrastructure.

  • Project Manager, County The County shall appoint a Project Manager to act as liaison between the County and the Subrecipient during the term of this Contract. The County’s Project Manager shall coordinate the activities of the County staff assigned to work with the Subrecipient.

  • Technical Support Services 2.1 The technical support services (the "Services"): Party A agrees to provide to Party B the relevant services requested by Party B, which are specified in Exhibit 1 attached hereto ("Exhibit 1").

  • Technical Support State Street will provide technical support to assist the Fund in using the System and the Data Access Services. The total amount of technical support provided by State Street shall not exceed 10 resource days per year. State Street shall provide such additional technical support as is expressly set forth in the fee schedule in effect from time to time between the parties (the “Fee Schedule”). Technical support, including during installation and testing, is subject to the fees and other terms set forth in the Fee Schedule.

  • Project Management Plan 3.2.1 Developer is responsible for all quality assurance and quality control activities necessary to manage the Work, including the Utility Adjustment Work.   • Curriculum Development This includes the analysis and coordination of textual materials; constant review of current literature in the field, some of which are selected for the college library collection, the preparation of selective, descriptive materials such as outlines and syllabi; conferring with other faculty and administration on curricular problems; and, the attendance and participation in inter and intra-college conferences and advisory committees.

  • Contractor’s Project Manager and Key Personnel Contractor shall appoint a Project Manager to direct the Contractor’s efforts in fulfilling Contractor’s obligations under this Contract. This Project Manager shall be subject to approval by the County and shall not be changed without the written consent of the County’s Project Manager, which consent shall not be unreasonably withheld. The Contractor’s Project Manager shall be assigned to this project for the duration of the Contract and shall diligently pursue all work and services to meet the project time lines. The County’s Project Manager shall have the right to require the removal and replacement of the Contractor’s Project Manager from providing services to the County under this Contract. The County’s Project manager shall notify the Contractor in writing of such action. The Contractor shall accomplish the removal within five (5) business days after written notice by the County’s Project Manager. The County’s Project Manager shall review and approve the appointment of the replacement for the Contractor’s Project Manager.   • Staff Development Leave (a) An employee will be granted leave without loss of pay, at their basic rate of pay, to take courses (including related examinations) or attend conferences, conventions, seminars, workshops, symposiums or similar out-of-service programs, at the request of the Employer. The amount of pay received by an employee will not exceed the full-time daily hours of work as outlined in Clause 14.2 (Hours of Work). When such leave is granted, the Employer will bear the full cost, including tuition fees, entrance or registration fees, laboratory fees, and course-related books. The Employer will also reimburse the employee for approved travelling, subsistence, and other legitimate, applicable expenses. (b) An employee may be granted leave without pay, with pay, or leave with partial pay, to take work related courses in which the employee wishes to enrol to acquire the skills necessary to enhance opportunities. (c) Approval of requests will be given reasonable consideration and leaves pursuant to this article will be administered in a reasonable manner. (d) Should the employee noted above terminate their employment for any reason during the six month period following completion of the above-noted leave, the employee will reimburse the Employer for all expenses incurred by the Employer (i.e. tuition fees, entrance or registration fees, laboratory fees, and course-required books) on a proportionate basis.
