Tie Breakers. If two (2) or more employees begin service with the Employer on the same day, and if seniority is not determined by length of service with other state agencies, the order of seniority for these employees shall be determined by the last four (4) digits of the employees’ social security numbers, with 0000 being the lowest and 9999 being the highest.
Tie Breakers. In the event of a tie in the overall score, the tie shall be broken by rating the applicant who had the highest written examination score above any other applicant who otherwise would have had a tie in the overall score. If after comparing the written examination scores, a tie still exists, it shall be decided by seniority.
Tie Breakers. L22.03 Where seniority in L22.01 is equal, the relative seniority status of each Member will be determined by the following factors:
Tie Breakers. 8.6.1 Seniority with the District: In the event two (2) or more employees have the same seniority ranking, all employees so affected will be ranked in accordance with the total seniority as contracted employees with the District.
Tie Breakers. In Continuing Education, where two or more Surrey Teachers’ Association members have the same length of service, the Surrey Teachers’ Association member with earliest date and time of receipt of their acceptance of their first appointment shall be deemed to have the greater seniority.
Tie Breakers. If seniority is identical on 1997 December 31, or under Articles 28.6 or 28.7, the following tie breakers shall be used in order:
Tie Breakers a. Where two (2) or more Surrey Teachers’ Association members have the same length of service, the Surrey Teachers’ Association member with the greater number of days accumulated in long-term Teacher Teaching On Call assignments with the district prior to appointment shall be deemed to have the greater seniority.
Tie Breakers. If an applicant for transfer and an applicant for promotion are equally qualified, the position shall be awarded to the applicant for transfer. If two (2) applicants for transfer are equally qualified, the position shall be awarded to the applicant with the greatest hire date seniority. If two (2) applicants for promotion are equally qualified, the employee with the greatest hire date seniority shall be promoted.
Tie Breakers. If two (2) or more employees subject to layoff have equal seniority in the class plus higher classes, the tie shall be broken based on total length of District service as a regular employee; if a tie still exists, determination shall be made by lot.
Tie Breakers. In the event district seniority is equal between employees, the procedures listed (5.11.7.1 through 5.11.7.3) are to be utilized in the following order as a tiebreaker:
