College Credits. 1. College credits taken by a full-time teacher during the contract period of the school term shall not exceed seven credits per college quarter. 2. College credits that are earned during regular working hours while under contract shall not be applied toward an advancement on the salary sched- ule. Exceptions must be approved by the Board prior to enrolling for such credits.

College Credits. Subject to a supervisor’s approval, within the limits stated in this section, funds shall be provided to reimburse the cost of college credits for a principal to advance the principal’s education.
College Credits. College credits used to change lanes on the salary schedule must have been earned from a college or university. If college credits earned by attending a workshop are to be used for lane change credits, the entire cost of the workshop, including registration fees and other expenses, except substitute teacher pay, must be reimbursed to the School District. In order to apply to salary schedule lane changes, credits must meet these criteria: 1. All credits must have prior, written approval from the Superintendent. 2. Master’s program courses approved by the granting institution must be presented to the Superintendent for approval at the onset of the program. 3. All graduate credits must be germane to the teaching assignment, and the teacher must have received a grade of “B” or better. 4. Acceptability of credits in question will be determined by a review committee made up of the Teachers’ Rights Representatives, Principals, and the Superintendent. 5. All credits beyond the master's lane must be graduate credits and be earned subsequent to the earning of the degree.

College Credits. A. CREDITS EARNED DEADLINE - Credits for advancement on the salary schedule may be earned until the end of summer school preceding the beginning of the school year. College Credits. The parties agree that the rights contained under Township Ordinance 3:1-6.11, as amended in 1995, entitled “College Credits", shall be amended to provide for the following conditions: 1. All college credits shall be paid by December 1st of each year. 2. If as of January 1, 1998, a Member has not successfully completed requirements for at least an Associates Degree, all payments for college credits shall cease until the degree is achieved. 3. If a Member has not successfully completed requirements for a Bachelor’s Degree, the Township shall only pay for Associates’ Degree credit plus a maximum of twenty (20) credits. 4. If a Member has not successfully completed requirements for a Master’s Degree, the Township shall only pay for Bachelor’s Degree credit plus a maximum of twenty (20) credits. 5. Should a Master’s Degree be achieves by a Member, the Township shall pay for all credits the member has accumulated in reaching this degree. Those Employees hired after January 1, 1994 shall not be paid for any college credits until such time as a minimum of Associates Degree is achieved. Those Employees in a Recruit Status will not receive any compensation for college credits. Upon graduation from a PTC Basic Police Academy, college credit compensation will commence from that date.
College Credits. For credit hours to be considered for movement on the salary schedule they must be graduate or undergraduate level hours from an accredited University or College in education curriculum related to the teacher’s area of certification, or administration or course work approved by the Superintendent. Only course work taken after the completion of a BA/BS and teaching certificates will be considered. Board may allow exceptions if it has been pre-approved. This requirement will be applied to coursework taken after the beginning of the 2000-01 school year. Teachers may only move on the salary schedule at the start of the 1st semester or the start of the 2nd semester. They must provide transcripts to the central office prior to the start of the 1st or 2nd semester to be moved during that semester.
College Credits. Payments will be made for college credits accumulated at the rate of seventy-five cents ($.75) per credit per month. Employees will not receive compensation for credits in excess of One-hundred-twenty (120). A payment of $650.00 annually will be made to employees with an Associate Degree in lieu of payment for college credits. Payment is to be made by November 30 annually.
