Union Business Days. Up to sixteen (16) individual work days may be used annually at the discretion of the Forum, provided that prior notification is given to Human Resources and the utilization of such times shall not impair the instructional program.
Union Business Days. The chairperson shall be released for union business two (2) days per month.
A. The Union shall reimburse the MISD for the chairperson's salary on his/her days off.
B. The day off shall be scheduled at least one day in advance.

Union Business Days. Recognizing the Union's need to conduct business and the possibility that its officers might be elected from distinctly different bargaining units, the duly elected union officers will be permitted a grand total of (15) fifteen paid work days off each contract year, limited to local union business. conferences, educational purposes and union meetings. The Union will schedule this time two weeks in advance through the Vice President of Patient Care Services or his/her designee. Management, insofar as possible, will not unduly deny requests due to occasional unforeseen events.

The Forum, at its discretion, may purchase at the supplemental rate, one course (up to 8 contact hours) release time, per semester, for use by the Forum President. The President will not select supplemental courses during said semester unless mutual agreement is reached with the Administration. Such a choice must be made prior to the beginning of classes in the semester(s) of choice. The College will be reimbursed for hours so purchased on or around April 15.
Union Business Days. An aggregate total of six (6) work days shall be provided to the Union for conducting Union business upon approval of the Superintendent or his/her designee.

Union Business Days. An employee who is duly authorized in writing to be a representative of the Union shall be granted a leave of absence with pay for the time necessary to conduct business. The Union shall be authorized an aggregate of no more than ten (10) days in any calendar year for the above purpose, provided a request for such days is made in writing and authorization granted by the Superintendent of Elections. Any leave not used in any calendar year shall not be accumulated and it is exclusive of that leave provided and granted under N.J.S.A. 38:23-2.

The use of UNION business days shall be directly related to the business of the UNION. The UNION president may authorize more than three (3) days absence per person as needed for Xxxxxx Xxxxx arbitration, fact-finding, or unfair labor practice hearings. The UNION president shall not utilize more than ten (10) days for UNION business days annually. The UNION president may request union business days via District email, interschool mail, or fax.
Union Business Days. A maximum of twenty (20) leave days shall be granted the FUSE for Union business without charge to pay or leave allowance or accumulation. The last ten (10) of these days will be granted provided the FUSE reimburses the District for the cost of substitutes. No one employee shall be granted more than five (5) such days in any single fiscal year. Any unused Union days in any one (1) year can be rolled over to the next succeeding year not to exceed a maximum of thirty (30) days per year. The President of the FUSE shall arrange such days with the Superintendent of Schools (or designee). Normal call-in procedures shall apply.
