Union Business Days. Up to sixteen (16) individual work days may be used annually at the discretion of the Forum, provided that prior notification is given to Human Resources and the utilization of such times shall not impair the instructional program. The Forum, at its discretion, may purchase at the supplemental rate, one course (up to 8 contact hours) release time, per semester, for use by the Forum President. The President will not select supplemental courses during said semester unless mutual agreement is reached with the administration. Such a choice must be made prior to the beginning of classes in the semester(s) of choice. The College will be reimbursed for hours so purchased on or around April 15.
Union Business Days. The UNION president shall authorize up to twelve (12) days for UNION business annually by its membership. Written notices of such leave must be submitted to the Personnel Office by 1:30 p.m. prior to the day of absence. The UNION president shall approve the use of each UNION business day and so indicate with his/her signature. There will not be more than three (3) days absence for any one employee annually and there will not be more than THREE
Union Business Days. Recognizing the Union's need to conduct business and the possibility that its officers might be elected from distinctly different bargaining units, the duly elected union officers will be permitted a grand total of (15) fifteen paid work days off each contract year, limited to local union business. conferences, educational purposes and union meetings. The Union will schedule this time two weeks in advance through the Vice President of Patient Care Services or his/her designee. Management, insofar as possible, will not unduly deny requests due to occasional unforeseen events.
