USE OF PAID TIME AND SCHEDULING. Employees shall be eligible to take paid leave in one-hour increments after their first one hundred eighty (180) days of employment, except that employees may use Paid Time Off after the first ninety (90) days of employment for sick leave, per state law. Employees may use any accrued paid leave for sick leave, or as whole hours of vacation, or for consecutive days of vacation, or any other reason when approved by the supervisor in the supervisor’s sole discretion. Employees must submit leave requests for vacation time off in writing at least two (2) weeks prior to the date of vacation requested. In the event that too many employees request paid leave for the same time period, and the Employer cannot ensure safe client coverage, leave approvals shall be granted by seniority within the office to which the employee is primarily assigned. Supervisors shall communicate about whether leave has been approved or disapproved within seven (7) calendar days of the leave request is submitted by an employee.

The Employer must provide a written response to a request for time off within one (1) week of the request. In the event that too many employees request PTO at the same time for the same time period, and the Employer cannot ensure safe client coverage, PTO approvals shall be granted by seniority within the office to which the employee is primarily assigned. Use of earned and accrued PTO hours shall not be limited. If an Employee requests time off that extends beyond the amount of PTO accrued, the Employer may deny the request for time off. Time off will not be denied arbitrarily or capriciously.

  • Use of Paid Time Employee must exhaust all available vacation prior to the start of the leave of absence.

  • Weekend Scheduling It is the policy of the Employer to schedule those nurses who so desire every other weekend off, with the exception of those nurses who have signed an authorization to work consecutive weekends. Nurses who have volunteered to work consecutive weekends may withdraw such authorization upon two (2) weeks’ written notice prior to the date a new schedule must be posted.

  • Dispatch and Scheduling 4.3.1 The Power Producer shall be required to schedule its power as per the applicable Regulations / Requirements / Guidelines of CERC / GERC / SLDC / RLDC and maintain compliance to the Grid Code requirements and directions, as specified by SLDC / RLDC from time to time. Any deviation from the schedule will attract the provisions of applicable Regulation / Guidelines / Directions and any financial implication on account of this shall be to the account of the Power Producer.

  • Unit Weekend Schedule A unit weekend schedule may be developed in order to meet the Hospital’s need for weekend staff, and individual nurses’ preference for a weekend work schedule. A unit weekend schedule is defined as a schedule in which a full-time nurse works a weekly average of thirty (30) hours and is paid for 37.5 hours at her or his regular straight time hourly rate. The schedule must include two 11.25 hour tours, which fall within a weekend period as determined by the Hospital and the Association. A nurse working a weekend schedule will work every weekend except as provided for in the provisions below. If the Hospital and the Association agree to a unit weekend schedule, the introduction of that schedule and the manner in which the position(s) are filled, shall be determined by the local parties and recorded in the Appendix of Local Provisions. This unit schedule may be discontinued by either party with notice as determined within the Appendix of Local Provisions. The opportunity for an individual nurse to discontinue this schedule shall be resolved by the local parties:

  • Hours of Work and Scheduling Provisions (b) In the event an Employee is scheduled to work on the evening or night Shift(s) on the day(s) or the night Shift commencing on the day(s) on which the Employee is called as a juror or witness in matters arising out of the Employee’s employment with the Employer, the Employee shall be granted a leave of absence for those scheduled Shift(s).

  • NOTICE TO PROCEED AND SCHEDULE The CONSULTANT shall begin the work to be performed under this Contract only upon receipt of the written notice to proceed from the LPA, and shall deliver the work to the LPA in accordance with the schedule contained in Appendix "C" which is herein attached to and made an integral part of this Contract.

  • Exhibits and Schedules The exhibits and schedules attached to this Agreement are incorporated herein and shall be considered a part of this Agreement for the purposes stated herein.

  • Use of PTO 10.5.1 PTO may be used as soon as it is earned, up to the amount accrued in the pay period immediately preceding the time off, in accordance with the provisions of this Article. PTO may not be used in advance of its accrual, on regularly scheduled days off, or to claim pay for time lost due to tardiness.
