Vacation and Other Leaves. The Executive shall be entitled to vacation in accordance with the Company's vacation policy (and to compensation in respect of earned but unused vacation days) and all paid holidays and personal leave days that are available generally to executive officers of the Company.

Employee shall be entitled to paid vacation and other paid absences, whether for holidays, illness, or any similar purposes, in accordance with policies applicable generally to executive officers of Safeco; provided, however, that Employee shall be entitled to at least twenty (20) days of paid vacation per calendar year.

Part time driver’s personal leave time will be based on actual daily hours normally worked. Part Time Contract Drivers. Vacation days for Part time drivers will be calculated based on the driver’s average contract time. Part time contract drivers will be permitted to take one-half of vacation time when school is in session. Not more than two (2) part time drivers shall be granted vacation on any given day, with the exception that during holidays more than 2 drivers may be granted vacation leave, provided that the necessary coverage (as determined by supervision) is maintained. Drivers using one-half (1/2) day vacation, sick time or perNot more than two (2) bus drivers shall be granted personal leave on any given day. Vacation and Other Leaves. The Secondee’s vacation and other leave entitlements will be managed by HOSPITAL. The Secondee(s) will without delay identify any circumstances that may reasonably be interpreted as creating a conflict of interest or a potential conflict of interest with the Secondee’s position or duties under this Agreement. The terms of the conflict of interest rules prescribed in Ontario regulation 381/07 with necessary modifications are incorporated in and form part of this Agreement and apply to the Secondee(s).

The City Administrator will be provided with twenty (20) days of vacation leave annually—ten (10) days of vacation leave shall be provided to her on the first day of her employment and the remaining balance shall be accrued throughout the year on a pro-rated basis. The City Administrator shall be allowed the same provisions for carryover of vacation as all other City employees. The City Administrator shall receive the same number of sick leave days as other City management employees except she will be provided five (5) days on the first day of her employment and the remaining balance shall be accrued throughout the year on a pro-rated basis. In addition, the City Administrator shall receive the same number of holiday and personal days provided to all other City employees.

The Executive shall be entitled to vacation in an amount equal to the greater of three (3) weeks or that provided in accordance with the Company's vacation policy (and to compensation in respect of earned but unused vacation days) and all paid holidays and personal leave days that are available generally to executive officers of the Company.
Vacation and Other Leaves. A. Bereavement Leave
1. When a death occurs in the immediate family of a Full-Time or Part-Time Employee, the Employee shall be entitled to a leave of absence of up to three (3) days with pay. The leave will be unpaid for non-benefited Employees. Up to three (3) days of bereavement leave may be taken following the death or before, during or after the scheduled funeral or memorial service. The Employee may choose to take time in no more than two (2) increments; however, any/all bereavement leave must be utilized within ninety (90) days of the death. Such leave shall not exceed the normal number of scheduled hours within a normal work week.
2. Immediate family" includes current spouse, legally-designated domestic partner, children, parents, stepparents, legal guardian(s), stepchildren, siblings, current in-laws, employee’s own grandparents, grandchildren, and any person covered under the Employee’s benefits.
3. A Full-Time or Part-Time Employee may request additional time off as vacation, or if the Employee has exhausted their vacation, may request unpaid leave. The Employer will not unreasonably deny such a request. The bereavement leave is available from date of hire.
