RELEASED TIME FOR ASSOCIATION PRESIDENT. A. The President of the Xxxxxxxx-Xxxxxxxx Education Association shall have released time to conduct the business of the Association consistent with law. Said time not to exceed nine (9) hours per year. Scheduling of the released time shall be agreed upon by the Principal of the building and the President.

RELEASED TIME FOR ASSOCIATION PRESIDENT. The President of the Association shall be provided with full released time from teaching or equivalent duties in order to carry out Association duties and shall suffer no loss of pay or employment benefits while performing such duties during the term of office expires. The Association shall pay to the District an amount equal to Step 7 on Appendix A for such release of the President.

RELEASED TIME FOR ASSOCIATION PRESIDENT. The Association President shall be granted twelve (12) half days of released time (taken in 1/2 or full day increments) per school year for Association business relative to in-district matters at no loss of salary, fringe benefits, or seniority.
RELEASED TIME FOR ASSOCIATION PRESIDENT. In order to provide sufficient time to the administration of this contract and to assist in maintaining a wholesome educational climate in which children may learn, the President of the Penn Hills Education Association will be assigned a 5/7 daily instructional day including one (1) planning period. The workday shall be scheduled to the mutual satisfaction of the District and the Association. In the event the President-elect is in a position that the release time would necessitate the cost of additional staff, the District has the right to reassign the President for the term of his/her office to a position in which the release time can be accommodated to eliminate any need for additional staff. Prior to such reassignment, the District shall meet with the Association to discuss possible assignments. The President can exercise his/her option to return to his/her original position.

RELEASED TIME FOR ASSOCIATION PRESIDENT. The District agrees to release an employee who is serving as Association President from his/her regular assignment either half-time or full-time for the year, or other employee up to full-time for the year. Based on the Association President’s contract FTE (full-time equivalent) during the school year previous to the school year term of office, those contractual rights accorded employees with the same FTE will be accorded the Association President during the school year term of office. The Association shall reimburse the District the percentage of FTE for release time times the total cost of the President’s salary and benefits. Unless otherwise mutually agreed by the Superintendent and Association President, reimbursement shall be paid monthly upon receipt of a billing by the District. This provision is permissive and will be implemented at the Association’s request and upon the Superintendent’s receipt of written notice prior to June 1 of any term. Said notice shall specify the amount of release time to be used for the following year. Upon completion of the school year, the released Association President shall be guaranteed his/her original position for the following school year, except for modifications/changes that occur as a result of provisions of this Agreement.

  • Association President The President of the Association has the right to visit schools. The President will coordinate the visits with the offices of the principals in order to facilitate the purpose of this visit. Visits that are made to solve special problems of teachers will be arranged in advance by notifying the office of the principal.

  • Leave, President, O.N.A Upon application in writing by the Association on behalf of the nurse to the Hospital, a leave of absence shall be granted to such nurse elected to the office of President of the Ontario Nurses' Association for a period of up to three (3) consecutive two (2) year terms. Notwithstanding Article 10.04, there shall be no loss of service or seniority for a nurse during such leave of absence. During such leave of absence, the nurse's salary and applicable benefits shall be maintained by the Hospital and the Association agrees to reimburse the Hospital in the amount of the full cost of such salary and applicable benefits. It is understood, however, that during such leave the nurse shall be deemed to be an employee of the Ontario Nurses' Association. The nurse agrees to notify the Hospital of her or his intention to return to work at least two (2) weeks prior to the date of such return.

  • Leave for Association Business The Hospital agrees to grant leaves of absence, without pay, to nurses selected by the Association to attend Association business including conferences, conventions and Provincial Committee meetings and to any nurse elected to the position of Local Co-ordinator. The cumulative total leave of absence, the amount of notice, the number of nurses that may be absent at any time from one area and the number of days (including those of the Local Co-ordinator) is set out in the Appendix of Local Provisions. During such leave of absence, a nurse's salary and applicable benefits or percentage in lieu of fringe benefits shall be maintained by the Hospital and the local Association agrees to reimburse the Hospital in the amount of the daily rate of the full-time nurse or in the amount of the full cost of such salary and percentage in lieu of fringe benefits of a part-time nurse except for Provincial Committee meetings which will be reimbursed by the Association. The Hospital will bill the local Association within a reasonable period of time. Part-time nurses will receive service and seniority credit for all leaves granted under this Article.
