Volunteer Service. Nothing in this Article shall prevent a faculty member from volunteering service to the College beyond the limits set forth in this article.
Volunteer Service. I will be serving as a volunteer and not as an employee or independent contractor of the Church Entity. I also understand that I will not receive any pay, compensation, or other employment-related benefits for my service as a volunteer, including for any license, transfer, or waiver of rights under sections 6 or 7 below.
Volunteer Service. Employees who are members of the County search and rescue team, state office of emergency services (OES), emergency medical services, or members in good standing of a local volunteer fire department will receive their regular compensation when an emergency situation arises during normal working hours.
Volunteer Service. Each family is required to perform 20 hours of service within the school community. The service hours are logged online by parents via our school website. All hours must be reported by June 15. Hours scheduled after that date should be recorded by June 15 to be included for that academic year. Families who do not perform the required service hours will be charged the difference at the end of the academic year. Short service hours will be billed to the family FACTS account valued at $25 per hour. Families who withdraw from the school on or before January will be required to fulfill 10 hours of service. Leaving the school after January, will require all 20 hours.
Volunteer Service. I am volunteering my services on my own initiative and understand that I will receive no pay, benefits, or remuneration of any kind for this volunteer work. I agree to abide by the policies, rules, and regulations of the SWCD, as well as all applicable federal, state and local laws.

I further understand and acknowledge that individuals assisting with the construction/repair of the fence/enclosure may be providing services to the Organization as volunteers of the Organization, and such parties are neither employees of the Organization, nor independent contractors, but rather, are providing services and performing work on a strictly volunteer basis. PHOTOGRAPHS/VIDEO: I grant to OTC, the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use and publish photographs of me, or in which I may be included, without my inspection or approval. I hereby release OTC from all claims and liability relating to said photographs and videos.

Confidentiality Agreement I respect the confidentiality of City of Carlsbad, herein after “city”, information and will discuss or give official information only as directed by a supervisor. No confidential information will be provided to the public except within the guidelines of the city. Background Checks I authorize fingerprinting, photographing and criminal background checks as necessary for specific positions that I have volunteered to perform. On behalf of myself, my heirs and representatives, I hereby release the City of Carlsbad, its elected officials, employees and agents from all liability for any damages that may result from my reference verification and background check(s). The background check policy is available upon request. Insurance Information and Release I understand that there is some risk and that I may be injured while performing volunteer activities or services for the city. I understand that the city’s policy is to cover volunteers as “employees” of the city for the sole purpose of California workers’ compensation benefits. I also understand that under workers’ compensation laws, workers’ compensation benefits will be the sole and exclusive remedy in the event I am injured while performing volunteer activities and services. I further understand and agree that I will only be entitled to medical expenses under the city’s workers’ compensation program. I will not be entitled to any other workers’ compensation benefits which may include, but are not limited to, permanent or temporary loss of use damages, replacement income or vocational rehabilitation benefits. With the exception of workers’ compensation benefits as set out above, I hereby agree that I, my heirs, guardians, legal representatives and assigns will not make a claim against or file an action against the City of Carlsbad or any of its agents, officers, employees or other volunteers, for injury or damage resulting from negligence, howsoever caused, by any employee, agent, officer or volunteer of the City of Carlsbad as a result of my participation in volunteer activit...

Volunteer Service. SECTION 1: Any employee who is an active/certified member of a Town of Cicero located Fire Department and receives an activation of their department to respond to an emergency while the employee is at work, may be released from work upon the approval of the Highway Superintendent and or Xxxxxxx, but only for a "Code 99" structural fire. Based on workforce strength and employee job duties at that time the employee will wait and verify that the alarm is a true emergency where as life and or property is in jeopardy, before leaving work. The employee will report directly to work upon completion of his/her emergency duties.
Volunteer Service. The Station may request the removal of an AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers in RSVP at any time. An AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers in RSVP may withdraw from service at the Station or from AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP at any time. The AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP staff, the Station staff, and volunteers are encouraged to communicate to resolve concerns or conflicts, or take remedial action, including, but not limited to, placement with another station. Letters of Agreement: For in-home assignments, the Volunteer Station will obtain a Letter of Agreement signed by the person or persons legally responsible for the child served, the Volunteer Station liaison, and the AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP liaison authorizing the assignment of an AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers in RSVP in the child’s home, defining the volunteer’s activities, and specifying supervisory arrangements.
