Weather Policy. The Event will operate rain or shine; however, the Event may be canceled due to inclement weather as determined in the Owner’s sole and absolute discretion. Notification of cancellation will be provided by 8 a.m. on the date of the Event. The Event may or may not be rescheduled for a later date. Owner reserves the right to approve and deny merchandise/produce/goods that have not been approved through the Proposal. Owner, its agents, or its employees will not be responsible for safeguarding merchandise. You are fully responsible for ensuring that your assigned space in at the Event is left in the same condition at the end of the Event as when you arrived. Any damage to Owner’s property, including but not limited to staining from the operation of the food cart or truck, will be fully remedied at your expense. Vendors must provide Owner with a copy of their mobile food license within two (2) business days from the date of this Contract. Vendors are expected to follow all rules and regulations as set-forth by ▇▇▇▇▇▇ County. Vendors must comply with all City Health Inspectors and their agents.
Weather Policy. Whenever the Employer determines that weather conditions are such as to constitute a hazardous and dangerous situation for employees traveling to or from work, the following policy shall be in effect. Employees who are unable to report at the beginning of their scheduled shift because of inclement weather conditions but who arrive within one hour of the start of their scheduled shift shall be considered to have reported at the beginning of the shift and shall be paid for the time lost. If such employees are dismissed, at the Employer’s request, prior to the end of their scheduled work day because of inclement weather conditions, they shall be paid for actual hours worked, but may utilize accrued vacation hours. If an offsite location closes due to inclement weather, employees must report to RHRI unless otherwise notified. Employees who arrive at work later than one hour after the start of their scheduled work day shall be compensated for all hours actually worked, and if they are dismissed prior to the end of their scheduled shift, they may utilize accrued vacation hours for the balance of their shift. Employees who work beyond their regular scheduled shift shall be compensated at the appropriate rate as set forth in paragraph 17.1 (Shift differentials). Nursing staff is considered essential personnel and is expected to make every effort to come to work as scheduled in the inclement weather.
Weather Policy. The Service Provider reserves the right to delay set-up or pause the event for up to one hour until suitable weather conditions exist. If inclement weather prevents the completion of the event, where less than 50% of the 8hr contract has been fulfilled (less than 4hrs from arrival of client or guests) then ▇▇▇▇ guarantees the Renter one make-up event within nine months of the original event date, depending on availability. One fee will be charged for the make-up event:
1. a $500 weather related cancellation fee to cover employee time. No refunds will be made for the initial payments. Note: This weather policy is subject to change.

In the event that the reservation is canceled due to severe weather, prior to the set-up of the equipment, Lessee is entitled to a full refund of its deposit and/or rental fee paid in advance.

The Farmers Market Manager shall have final decision authority depending on the projected path and surrounding conditions of the storm. The Venice Farmers Market requires Vendors to have weights on hand (or other means of securing the Vendors' tents and equipment) for any unforeseen wind conditions. Tent weights are required and must be equal or greater than 20 lbs per tent leg. Rain-only events will not initiate a closure. The presence or immediate threat of lightning is grounds for closure. The market does not refund market closure dates due to weather, except under circumstances deemed by ▇▇. Vendors are responsible for monitoring local weather conditions. Vendors with perishable items may, at their discretion, adjust their inventory the best they can to minimize inventory loss in case of projected severe weather conditions. With notice given to the Market Manager, Vendors may choose at their discretion to be absent from the Market due to predicted weather. This will be counted towards Vendor’s yearly absences. Vendors are required to "check in" with the Farmers Market Manager if potentially dangerous winds or lightning storms approach the Farmers Market. Vendors need to be on the same page in the event of such storms.

Employees who are scheduled for on-call duty and who voluntarily remain on the premises may be assigned duties during such periods.

Weather Policy. The WSUFM is a ‘Rain or Shine Market’, which means we will be officially OPEN during regularly scheduled hours, even in inclement weather conditions. The ONLY EXCEPTION is lightening and severe weather warnings, such as severe thunderstorm warnings or a tornado warning. If severe weather is imminent (usually signified by sirens and/or alerts from the national weather service) or lightening is seen, all market operations will cease. The Market Manager or designee on site can call off the market in extreme weather circumstances at their discretion. In any case, the WSUFM will provide vendors with as much advance notice as possible in the event of inclement weather and/or market closure. Vendors are responsible for acting as their own treasurer. Vendors are responsible for all permits required by the state of Michigan, ▇▇▇▇▇ County, or the City of Detroit to sell their products. Vendors will also be asked to complete a market report at the end of each market day indicating both volume of product sold (to the best of your abilities) and dollars in sales generated from business at WSUFM that day. This information will be strictly confidential, and any reporting of market sales will occur as a market aggregate total and not by individual vendor. This information will be collected and utilized by the Market Manager in evaluating the success of WSUFM. Due to the issue COVID-19 has presented markets and vendors with across the nation, the WSUFM will not be participating in food sampling this season. This has gone under careful consideration by market management and has been decided upon with an abundance of caution.
Weather Policy. If the gym is closed due to bad weather, this information will be on our Facebook page and web site. We will try to make this decision as soon as possible, following the lead of what other businesses are doing concerning area closings. There are no refunds or additional make-ups for snow days, acts of nature, pandemics, or illnesses, such as the flu. However, these absences can be made up using your one make-up per session.
