Work Year and Work Week Sample Clauses

The "Work Year and Work Week" clause defines the standard duration of the work year and the typical structure of the work week for employees covered by the agreement. It typically specifies the number of days or hours employees are expected to work annually and outlines the regular weekly schedule, such as the number of workdays per week and daily hours. For example, it may establish a 40-hour work week spread over five days, or set a specific number of annual workdays, excluding holidays and leave. This clause ensures both employers and employees have a clear understanding of work expectations, helping to prevent disputes over scheduling and workload.
