Work Year & Hours. The number of duty days will generally be 186 days for Equity Specialists, Student Assistance Counselors, and Community and Cultural Liaisons, and the scheduled days will generally be the 186-teacher scheduled workdays. Additional days may be added by the immediate supervisor upon mutual consent. Employees are normally required to work a forty (40) hour week. The scheduled hours will typically coincide with teacher/student contact time at the employee’s assigned work site and approved by their supervisor. The scheduled hours may be adjusted to meet the needs of a particular program, with the approval of the immediate supervisor.

Work Year & Hours. YEAR A. The in-school work year for teachers shall not exceed twenty-five (25) days. B. Teachers shall be entitled to the non-paid Independence Day legal holiday. C. The Board or the Administration may request voluntary work. However, any voluntary work performed on or during a legal holiday shall be compensated at double the daily rate as determined by a twenty-five (25) day work year. A teacher shall have the right to refuse to perform volunteer work during the Independence Day legal holiday. D. Any teacher who does not work for the entire in-school work year, as defined in paragraph (A) above, shall receive a salary prorated at the per diem rate for the days s/he actually worked.
Work Year & Hours. 1. The Board and the Association agree that the working year for teachers constitutes 196 days, five (5) days of the 196 day contract as paid holidays for employees. Teachers contracted for 10.5 months will have a 206 day working year with five (5) paid holidays included. Teachers contracted for eleven months will have a 216 day working year with six (6) paid holidays included. The holidays will be determined by the Board. Teachers contracted for twelve months will have a working year determined by the Board not to exceed 250 days with six (6) paid holidays included. The Board and the Association further agree that the working day for teachers constitutes 7 ½ hours, and that each appropriate principal or supervisor will determine the arrival and leaving time of the teachers assigned to their respective schools or staffs. Each teacher shall be entitled to a thirty (30) minute uninterrupted duty free lunch. 2. In order to meet the requirements of FS 1011.62 regarding the Lowest Performing Elementary School list, the following will apply for any school on the list each year: 1. On student attendance days, the teacher work day will be seven hours and fifty minutes. 2. Teachers will be compensated for the additional time at their regular rate of pay. 3. Leave time will be accrued based on hours worked. These provisions apply only to the school year in which a school appears on the FLDOE’s Lowest Performing Elementary Schools list. 3. Unpaid holidays shall include January 1, Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx Xxx, President’s Day, a Fall holiday, Thanksgiving (2 days), Spring holiday, Memorial Day and Fourth of July.
Work Year & Hours. The District shall establish work schedules for employees in keeping with the standard workday and workweek and in conformance with time schedules for various classifications of employees. The work year for the various classifications and hours for the various classifications of employees shall be set forth in the job postings/descriptions.

  • Work Year The full-time work year for all employees employed in EA and ECE job classes shall be a minimum of 194 work days to correspond with the school year calendar.

  • Work Week The work week will begin at 12:00 a.m. on Sunday and end at 11:59 p.m. the following Saturday.

  • Normal Work Day The normal work day shall be eight (8) hours and the normal work week shall be forty (40) hours, Monday through Friday, provided however that nothing herein shall be construed as guaranteeing any EMPLOYEE eight (8) hours of work per day or forty (40) hours per week. A single shift shall consist of eight (8) hours of continuous employment, except for unpaid lunch period, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

  • Standard Work Week The standard work week for full-time employees covered by this Agreement shall be forty (40) hours, exclusive of the time allotted for meal periods, consisting of five (5) consecutive work days followed by two (2) consecutive days off. The week shall commence with the shift that includes 12:01 A.M. Sunday of each calendar week and end at the start of the shift that includes 12:00 midnight the following Saturday. The Employer retains the right to modify the work schedules to meet operational needs.

  • Normal Work Week The normal work week shall be thirty-seven and one-half (37 1/2) hours, and the normal daily hours of work shall be seven and one-half (7 1/2) hours, exclusive of a meal period. The normal work week shall be Monday through Friday and the normal workday shall be scheduled between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

  • Normal Hours of Work 10A.01 The normal work day is defined as the twenty-four (24) hour period beginning at 12:00 Midnight. 10A.02 The employer has the option of working either five (5) eight (8) hour days or four (4) ten

An employee who is called for work and upon reporting finds that his or her services are not required shall receive two (2) hours pay.

  • Normal Workweek The normal workweek shall consist of five (5) days, eight (8) hours per day and forty (40) hours per week. This Article shall not restrict the extension of the regular workday or workweek on an overtime basis when such is necessary to carry on the business of the District.
