Xxxxxxxx Days. Effective the 2011-12 school year, all teachers compensated under Appendix A will have the equivalent of two (2) days compensation deducted from his/her annual salary at the teacher’s daily rate of pay. Said deductions shall be made in equal amounts from the teacher’s bi-weekly paycheck for 21 pay periods. For teachers hired after the beginning of the work year, said furlough days shall be deducted on a pro-rated basis equivalent to a half-day during each quarter of the 2011-12 school year. Said payments shall also be made in equal amounts from the teacher’s bi-weekly paycheck.
Xxxxxxxx Days. The parties to unit agreements which are or will be attached hereto have negotiated for three furlough days in FY 2018, provided that notwithstanding any furlough day language in any local bargaining unit agreement, units may substitute accrual reductions or other means that produce equivalent savings.
Xxxxxxxx Days. In the event that the Board or Superintendent imposes one or more mandatory furlough days on Board administrative staff on 250-day employment contracts, the Superintendent shall also be subject to such imposition for a like number of days.
Xxxxxxxx Days. Should the number of days exceed six (6), teachers shall be expected to work from home from 11:25 – 2:55 to fulfill teaching duties.
Xxxxxxxx Days. The phrase “Business Days” as used herein shall mean the days of Monday through Friday, excepting only federal holidays. If the last day upon which performance hereunder would otherwise be required or permitted is not a Business Day, then the time for such performance shall be automatically extended to the next day that is a Business Day.
Xxxxxxxx Days. For purposes of these disclosures, our business days are Monday through Friday, except bank and/or Federal holidays.
Xxxxxxxx Days. During the 2012-2013, drivers shall accept two unpaid furlough days: Memorial Day 2013 and February 15, 2013. If the District schedules driving on February 15, 2013, in the case of any driving that is not a driver’s regular route, or filling in for someone else’s regular route, drivers will be eligible to drive those trips, etc., and still be considered to have met the furlough requirement. The assignment of trips, etc., on that day, if any, will follow the regular rotation of that type run/trip.
Xxxxxxxx Days. All employees shall be paid for time lost up to a maximum of five (5) days or the daily scheduled hourly equivalency per school year when the schools in which they are employed are closed due to an epidemic or other public calamity. Any time the Superintendent declares a school closing/calamity time period employees who are required to work during the calamity time period will receive regular pay plus overtime.
Xxxxxxxx Days. Classified employees told they do not need to report to work due to a calamity day shall be paid their appropriate rate of pay for all days, or part of a day, when the school in which he/she assigned is closed. A classified employee who works on a calamity day shall be compensated at one and one-half (1.5) times his/her regular hourly rate of pay for all hours worked in addition to regular pay. When school is closed due to inclement weather, maintenance personnel will be notified if they are required to report by the Director of Operations or designee. Calamity days shall be counted as days worked for the purpose of determining accumulation of hours for overtime payment.
Xxxxxxxx Days. If any payment is due, or any time period for giving notice or taking action expires, on a day which is a Saturday, Sunday or legal holiday in the State of California, the payment shall be due and payable on, and the time period shall automatically be extended to, the next business day immediately following such Saturday, Sunday or legal holiday, and Interest shall continue to accrue at the required rate hereunder until any such payment is made.
