Academic Needs of Students. The salary increase for academic needs is a teacher retention catch up increase. Teachers will be placed on the salary schedule at the level commensurate with the teacher’s education and years of experience or on the level closest to their current salary without a decrease.

Academic Needs of Students. The need to retain returning teachers with graduate education in any education-related field, including but not limited to; education, curriculum, instruction, or content area meets the academic needs of students. All teachers who retain graduate credits in any education-related field including but not limited to education, curriculum, instruction, or content area, will receive a $1,000 base salary increase.

Academic Needs of Students. The need to retain returning teachers with one or more years of experience by adjusting the teachers’ salary by an amount greater than the salary for new teachers hired in the 2023- 2025 school year. The salary increase for academic needs is a teacher retention catch-up.
Academic Needs of Students. This factor is a differentiated teacher retention catch up defined as retaining effective and highly effective teachers by allowing these teachers currently employed by the school corporation to receive a salary adjusted in comparison to starting base salaries of new teachers. This factor will be applied after the Evaluation factor and will be granted in the amount necessary to place the teacher at the location on the Adjusted 2022-2023 Salary Table in Appendix I-A that represents the closest equivalent (identical or increased salary) as compared with the Original 2022- 2023 Salary Table (see 2022-2023 Bridging and Stipend Table, also in Appendix I-A)..
Academic Needs of StudentsThe salary increase for academic needs is a differentiated bargaining unit member retention catch-up increase. Eligible bargaining unit members will be transitioned to the 2023-2024 salary schedule in Appendix A at the level commensurate with the bargaining unit member's education and years of experience (up to $10,601). Any effective, highly effective, or new teacher subject to the statutory exemption whose salary increase is less than $1,000 will be awarded a one-time stipend in the amount necessary to bring the teacher’s overall compensation increase for the 2023-2024 school year to $1,000. Returning teachers for the 2024-2025 school year will not receive a base salary increase and shall remain at their 2023-2024 base salary.

Eligible bargaining unit members will be transitioned to the 2024-2025 salary schedule at the level commensurate with the bargaining unit member's education and years of experience.
Academic Needs of Students. A. To meet this factor, the teacher must be able to demonstrate to their primary evaluator that they met one of the following criteria for meeting the academic needs of students. a. Participating in or conducting Professional Development training activities and/or earning PGP’s for a minimum of 15 hours outside the contract day; or b. Voluntary tutoring, coaching, or educationally related activity sponsor outside the student day with a minimum of 15 hours; or c. Serve as PLC leader/chairperson at the corporation or school level; or d. A combination of fifteen (15) voluntary hours of professional development, tutoring, coaching, or educationally-related activity sponsor outside the student and/or contract day; or e. Serving as a teacher mentor (with administrative approval).
