Academic Needs of Students. Graduate education in any education-related field, including but not limited to; education, curriculum, instruction, or content area meets the academic needs of students. All teachers rated Highly Effective or Effective for the 2020-2021 school year who attain additional graduate credits in any education-related field including but not limited to education, curriculum, instruction, or content area, will receive a $1,500 (46% of total possible) increase in base compensation as listed below. Eligible bargaining unit members will be transitioned to the 2023-2024 salary schedule in Appendix A at the level commensurate with the bargaining unit member's education and years of experience (up to $10,601). Any effective, highly effective, or new teacher subject to the statutory exemption whose salary increase is less than $1,000 will be awarded a one-time stipend in the amount necessary to bring the teacher’s overall compensation increase for the 2023-2024 school year to $1,000. 2024-2025 Salary Increase Returning teachers for the 2024-2025 school year will not receive a base salary increase and shall remain at their 2023-2024 base salary.
