Acceptance of Proposals. The Commission may award a contract for these services to a firm that the Commission determines best satisfies the needs of the Commission. The solicitation for a proposal or Technical Proposal does not, in any manner or form, commit the Commission to award any contract. The contents of the proposals may become a contractual obligation, if, in fact, the proposal or Technical Proposal is accepted and a contract is entered into with the Commission. Failure of a firm to adhere to and/or honor any or all of the obligations of the proposal or Technical Proposal may result in the cancellation of any contract awarded by the Commission.

Acceptance of Proposals a) This Request for Proposals should not be construed as an agreement to purchase goods or services. PwC is not bound to enter into a Contract with the Proponent who submits the highest ranking proposal or with any Proponent. Proposals will be assessed in light of the evaluation criteria. PwC will be under no obligation to receive further information, whether written or oral, from any Proponent. b) Neither acceptance of a proposal nor execution of a Contract will constitute approval of any activity or development contemplated in any proposal that requires any approval, permit or license pursuant to any federal, provincial, regional district or municipal statute, regulation or by-law.

Acceptance of Proposals. All contractors meeting the specifications shall be eligible to be placed on an emergency snow removal contact roster and called upon if deemed necessary. Miami Township is not required by law to carry out public bidding for contracts for snow plowing services. Interested contractors should take note that the provisions of the bidding laws DO NOT APPLY to this solicitation. In order to obtain the service with the highest value, Miami Township has voluntarily undertaken this request for proposals. The Township also reserves the right to engage in agreements with individual contractor(s) after proposals are obtained. The Township reserves the right to call upon any number of the contractors derived from this process during extreme winter weather events. Approval does not guarantee the contractor’s services will be used and the Township has sole discretion to call or not call contractors in any manner and in whatever order the Township elects.
