Accumulation and Payment of Sick Leave. Sick leave with pay shall be cumulative and any employee having unused sick leave prior to the effective date of this Contract shall be credited with such unused sick leave for the purpose of this Contract.
Accumulation and Payment of Sick Leave. An employee is permitted to accumulate sick leave up to a maximum of eighteen (18) days at any one time. An employee shall be able to carry forward unused sick days into the subsequent calendar year to a maximum of thirty-six (36) days.
Accumulation and Payment of Sick Leave. Full-time employees: shall accumulate sick leave credits at the rate of one and one-half (1.5) days per month, to a maximum of one hundred and sixty (160) days. Sick leave credits shall be added on the last day of each month. Deduction shall be made from the unused portion of an employee's accumulated sick leave credits at a ratio of one (1) day for each day of absence due to illness, or on an hourly basis for absences of less than a full day.

Accumulation and Payment of Sick Leave. Earned but unused sick leave may be carried over from one calendar year to the next. However, the total number of days an employee may accumulate, including those days that may be carried over, cannot exceed seventy-five (75) days.

The unused portion of an employee’s sick leave shall accrue for his/her future benefit up to the maximum. If an Employee’s employment ends with the Employer, for any reason, the value of any unused sick leave credits shall be paid to the Employee. If an Employee dies, the value of the Employee’s sick bank, as well as a payment for unused sick leave credits shall be paid to the Employee’s estate. The Employer shall provide, to each Employee, once a year, the total of their sick leave accumulation.
Accumulation and Payment of Sick Leave. An employee’s sick leave entitlements will increase as their length of continuous service with the Group Health Centre increases. These sick leave entitlements will be credited every January 1st to be used during that calendar year as required, and any unused entitlement will not carry over from year to year.
