Annual Leave Planning. 84.11.1. ELICOS Teachers will be supported to take four (4) weeks of annual leave per year. The taking of annual leave will be planned so as to minimise the impact of annual leave on the operations of the Company and to support Employees with family and carer responsibilities. Annual leave planning will also support the planning of timetabled teaching arrangements.

Annual Leave Planning. Employees planning to take leave are required to discuss the timing of their leave in advance and prior to making any firm commitments or travel plans. In cases of emergency or critical situation such as serious illness or serious incident involving self, family or property, consideration will be made.

Members taking their first Sabbatical Leave after a probationary period at The University of Western Ontario shall receive 90.0% of their Base Salary; Members taking their second or subsequent Sabbatical Leave from The University of Western Ontario shall receive 85.0% of their Base Salary.

  • Cultural Leave Where such leave is approved by the employer, teachers participating in recognised cultural activities within New Zealand or outside New Zealand are entitled to leave with pay on the same conditions as for sports leave.

  • CULTURAL LEAVE FOR ABORIGINAL EMPLOYEES The Superintendent of Schools or their designate, may grant five (5) paid days per year leave with seven (7) days written notice from the employee to participate in Aboriginal Cultural event(s). Such leave shall not be unreasonably denied.
