ARTICLE PURPOSE. The purpose of this Agreement is to provide orderly collective bargaining relations, in good faith, between the Company and its employees and the Union representing such employees, to provide orderly procedure for the prompt, and equitable, disposition of grievances and for the maintenance of mutually satisfactory hours of work, wages and working conditions.

ARTICLE PURPOSE. ‌ The purpose of this article is to provide for technological change and to minimize any adverse effects of such change on employees in the bargaining unit by providing for retraining, transfer, early retirement or severance pay.

ARTICLE PURPOSE. The general purpose of this Agreement is to establish and maintain collective bargaining relations between the Hospital and the employees covered by this Agreement; to provide for on-going means of communication between the Union and the Hospital and the prompt disposition of grievances and the final settlement of disputes and to establish and maintain mutually satisfactory salaries, hours of work and other conditions of employment in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement. It is recognized that employees wish to work together with the Hospital to secure the best possible care and health protection for patients.

ARTICLE PURPOSE. It is the intention of this agreement to maintain a harmonious relationship between the Company and its employees, to provide an amicable and prompt method of settling any difference which may arise between the Company and the employees concerning the interpretation and application of this contract.
