ARTICLE REPRESENTATION. The Gallery agrees to recognize a Negotiating composed of the Chief Xxxxxxx and two (2) other employees from the unit, one (1) of be apart-time employee of the Union’s choice. The Negotiating Committee will be allowed time off work, without of straight (maximum hours as per scheduled shift) for meetings with the Gallery. The Gallery the right of the Union to appoint three (3) stewards from employees to assist the employees in presenting grievances to representatives of the Gallery. It is understood and agreed that stewards shall be appointed from employees who have completed their probationary period of service at the Gallery. The Union may designate two (2) stewards and one Chief Xxxxxxx to represent employees. The Union shall inform the Gallery in writing of the name of the stewards and the Chief Xxxxxxx and the effective dates of their appointment. A Labour-Management Committee shall be established consisting of three representatives of the union and three representatives of the Gallery. Such may meet from time to time at mutually agreeable times in order to discuss matters of mutual concern. This Committee shall not be used as a means to circumvent the Grievance Procedure. The party requesting a meeting shall present an agenda of matters to be discussed at the time the request is made. Any matters to be added to the agenda shall be brought to the attention of the Committee in advance of the meeting. A National Representative of the Union may, at option, any meeting of Committee. The Union acknowledgesthat the xxxxxxx has duties to perform on behalf of the Gallery, and that will not leave duties without obtaining the permission of immediate managerial supervisor. permission will not be unreasonably withheld. Stewards and the Xxxxxxx shall not suffer any loss of pay for total time spent presenting grievances. A National Representative may have access to the Gallery premises with the advance approval of Director, Human Resources. The Union agrees that the National Representative will not engage in any activity which has the effect of interfering with the regularly scheduled work of employees except to the extent specifically authorized by the Director, Human Resources or designate. In the interest of the more orderly administration of the agreement, the Gallery will permit the Stewards two (2) hours per week without loss of pay or benefits for the purpose of conducting the administrative business of the Union local. ARTICLE REPRESENTATION. The Company shall provide the Union with a list of managers who will deal with the Union's Labour Relations Committee. The Union shall provide the Company with a list of the members of the Labour Relations Committee, which may include a representative from the International Office of the the Local Union Business Representative. Meetings between the Company and the Labour Relations Committee shall be held when requested by either party but not more often than once every month. Matters to be discussed at any such conference shall be listed on an agenda to be supplied by the Party requesting the conference to the other Party at least five (5) working days prior to the day for which the conference is requested, unless otherwise arranged by the Parties. The Company hereby agrees that it shall provide office with desk, chair, filing cabinet and phone for the Union. Meetings and contract negotiations between the Company and the Union will be convened during normal working hours and those in attendance will not suffer any loss of regular pay or overtime opportunity as a result of their participation in such proceedings. During contract negotiations (which shall be held at a neutral venue) between the Company and the Union, the Parties shall share equally in the payment of wages for the members of the Union Bargaining Committee which shall not exceed four (4) members unless otherwise mutually agreed.
