ASSOCIATION-ADMINISTRATION LIAISON. A. The association shall establish a liaison committee that shall normally meet on a monthly basis, or as needed, with the Superintendent to review and discuss school district problems and practices.

ASSOCIATION-ADMINISTRATION LIAISON. A. The Association representatives shall meet with the Superintendent and such administrators as he selects, normally once a month, unless it is mutually agreed to extend this period of time, to review and discuss current school problems and practices. The committee shall consist of five (5) representatives appointed by the Association and five (5) representatives appointed from the Administration selected by the Superintendent of Schools. This committee in no way alters or modifies the function of any committee which has been or shall be established by the Administration. B. Individual school principals shall meet with the Association representatives from that individual school building, normally once a month, unless it is mutually agreed to extend this period of time. The Association and the principal shall agree on a calendar of meetings. These meetings shall in no way disrupt the educational program. Matters that pertain to individual grievances shall not be subject to these meetings.

There shall be a Liaison Committee for each school building which shall meet with the principal or his designee at least once a month for the duration of the school year to review and discuss local school problems and practices, and to play an advisory role in the revision or development of building policies. Areas for consideration shall include but not be limited to such matters as curriculum, text books, distribution of materials and supplies, discipline, school budget allocation, and parent visitations. Said committee shall in no event have less than three members. The committee shall include Association building representatives and other staff as assigned by the principal and/or their designee. Liaison meetings shall be scheduled so as not to conflict with regularly scheduled IREA meetings that require the presence of association building representatives. B. The IREA’s Association representatives and officers shall meet with the Superintendent or his designee at the request of either party during the school year to review and discuss current problems and practices including contract issues. Only by mutual agreement shall more than one meeting a month be held.

Said Committee shall consist of not less than three (3) faculty members in the school building who must hold Association membership. B. No more than seven Association representatives shall meet with the Superintendent and/or his designee at least once a month during the school year when mutually scheduled to review and discuss current school problems and practices and the administration of this Agreement. An agenda of items will be forwarded to the Superintendent and/or designee at least three (3) days in advance of the scheduled meeting.

Recognizing that any agreement entered into by the Association, the Board of Education and the administrators of Cherry Hill Public Schools will be effective in providing for better educational opportunities for children only if properly implemented by way of effective and continued communication on subjects related to current school practices and problems: 1. The school principal and/or assistant principal shall confer with a liaison committee of the individual school selected by the Association from the staff of that school to review and discuss local school matters. The liaison committee shall be composed of no more than two (2) persons in an elementary school having no assistant principal; no more than three (3) persons in an elementary and middle school having an assistant principal; and in secondary schools (grades 9 to 12), no more than the number of principals and assistant principals assigned to such schools. 2. On each liaison committee shall be at least one CHEA faculty representative or alternate. Meetings shall be held at the request of either party within seven (7) days after request, but not more than once a month, unless by mutual consent of both parties. Meetings shall be scheduled during the school day, during non-working time, unless otherwise mutually agreed and shall be of a reasonable length to discuss areas of concern. 3. The president of the Association and/or his/her representative(s) shall meet with the superintendent and/or his designated representative(s) at the request of either party within seven (7) days of said request, but these meetings shall not exceed one per month unless by mutual consent. These meetings shall be scheduled during the school day during non-working time unless otherwise mutually agreed, and shall be of a reasonable length to discuss the areas of concern.

ASSOCIATION-ADMINISTRATION LIAISON. The Association's Welfare Committee consisting of a representative elected from each building, the Welfare Committee Chairperson, the Association President, shall meet with the Superintendent, or designee, and other administrators as selected, on a monthly basis to discuss and, where applicable, attempt to resolve matters of concern to the Association, Board and Administration. Additional meetings may be requested if need arises.
ASSOCIATION-ADMINISTRATION LIAISON. The Association shall select a Liaison Council which shall meet with the Chief School Administrator at least once per marking period or as the need arises.
ASSOCIATION-ADMINISTRATION LIAISON. Regular Meetings - Both parties to the Agreement recognize that any Agreement entered into will be successful in providing for better educational opportunities for young people only if there is effective communication among the parties. Regular meetings during the school year between the Association and the Superintendent may be held throughout the year, as needed, for the purpose of studying the District's problems, reviewing approaches which will improve the schools' programs, and discussing matters of mutual concern. Either party may call for additional liaison meetings as needed.
