Bone Marrow or Organ Donation. Pursuant to Public Law 103-329, Section 629(a), employees are entitled to seven (7) days of paid leave each calendar year (in addition to annual and sick leave) to serve as bone marrow donor, and 30 days for organ donation.

Bone Marrow or Organ Donation. An employee is entitled to excused absence each calendar year of up to seven days to serve as a bone marrow donor and thirty days to serve as an organ donor. The excused absence will not affect pay, leave to which otherwise entitled, credit for time or service, or a performance rating. The length of absence for such purposes will vary depending upon the medical circumstances of each case. Administratively acceptable documentation, such as certification from the employee or medical certification from the doctor or hospital, is required.

  • Extended Health Care Plan ‌ The Employer shall pay the monthly premium for regular employees entitled to coverage under a mutually acceptable extended health care plan.

  • Blood Donations An employee may be granted leave with pay, up to a maximum of two (2) hours, for donating blood during regularly scheduled hours of work.

  • Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee The Employer and the Union recognize the role of the joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee in promoting a safe and healthful workplace.   • Extended Health Care The Hospital shall contribute on behalf of each eligible employee seventy-five percent (75%) of the billed premium under the Extended Health Care Plan (Liberty Health $15-25 deductible plan including hearing aids with a maximum of $300.00 per person and vision care with a maximum of $150.00 every 24 months per person, or its equivalent) provided the balance of the monthly premium is paid by employees through payroll deduction. Any Hospital currently paying more than 75% of the premium shall continue to do so. The drug formulary shall be as defined by Liberty Health Formulary Three.

  • Organ Transplants This plan covers organ and tissue transplants when ordered by a physician, is medically necessary, and is not an experimental or investigational procedure. Examples of covered transplant services include but are not limited to: heart, heart-lung, lung, liver, small intestine, pancreas, kidney, cornea, small bowel, and bone marrow. Allogenic bone marrow transplant covered healthcare services include medical and surgical services for the matching participant donor and the recipient. However, Human Leukocyte Antigen testing is covered as indicated in the Summary of Medical Benefits. For details see Human Leukocyte Antigen Testing section. This plan covers high dose chemotherapy and radiation services related to autologous bone marrow transplantation to the extent required under R.I. Law § 27-20-60. See Experimental or Investigational Services in Section 3 for additional information.   • Indigenous Peoples The Borrower shall, and shall cause MOT and ARS to, ensure that the Project does not cause any impact on indigenous people within the meaning of the SPS. In the event that the Project does have any such impact, the Borrower shall, and shall cause MOT and ARS to, take all steps required to ensure that the Project complies with the applicable laws and any other applicable regulations of the Borrower and the SPS.
