Annual and Sick Leave. Employees who are granted military leaves for active duty may be paid for annual leave, or may have annual leave frozen. Xxxx leave earned and not used at the time of entry into the Armed Forces will be available to employees upon return to work. Employees shall not earn annual or sick leave while they are on military leave without pay.
Annual and Sick Leave. A pregnant professional employee who is on parental leave without pay is entitled to use accrued sick leave for the period that she is unable to work as certified by a physician. Any professional employee who is on parental leave without pay may use all accrued annual and personal leave. All other periods of leave related to parental leave shall be leave without pay. Unused leave shall be carried over until return. A professional employee shall not earn annual and sick leave while on parental leave without pay.
Annual and Sick Leave. Nurses who choose to work a twenty-four (24) hour weekend schedule understand the following:

Annual and Sick Leave accrual shall be prorated based upon the number of regular hours a Job Sharer is in a paid status per pay period, as provided in Articles 18 and 19 of this Agreement. Paid status includes regular hours worked and all paid leave taken.
Annual and Sick Leave. A. Annual Leave
1. A maximum of three hundred sixty (360) hours of accumulated annual leave earned beginning with the first pay period in Fiscal Year 1996, or such other amount established in an approved Salary Plan may be carried over from one (1) leave year to the next by an employee.
2. An employee shall be allowed to carry over annual leave earned as of the last full pay period in Fiscal Year 1995, even if such accumulated amount is in excess of the maximum allowed in Subsection (d)(1), of the Personnel Law.
3. Annual leave hours in excess of the maximum allowed to be carried over to the next leave year shall be converted to sick leave.
B. Sick Leave Sick leave shall be provided to employees in accordance with Section 16-221 of the Personnel Law.
Annual and Sick Leave. Full-time and part-time employees are granted leave in accordance with applicable federal laws and regulations. The rate of accrual of annual leave for a full-time employee appointed for a period of 90 days or more is as follows: Less than 3 4 hours 3 but less than 15 6 hours (10 hours for last complete pay period in calendar year) 15 or more 8 hours With certain exceptions, a maximum of 240 hours of annual leave may be carried forward from one leave year to the next. A full-time employee accrues sick leave at the rate of four hours for each full biweekly pay period with no limitation on the amount that may be carried forward from one leave year to the next. A part-time employee accrues annual and sick leave on a basis similar to that for a full-time employee working an 8-, 9-, 10-, or 12-hour basic work schedule in proportion to hours worked up to eight, nine, ten, or twelve hours in a 24-hour period and up to 40 hours in a calendar week. Employees working 8-, 9-, 10- and 12-hour shifts who are absent for the entire shift will be charged 8, 9, 10 and 12 hours respectively of appropriate leave. Employees working 9-hour shifts who are absent for their entire 4-hour or 8-hour straight-time shift are charged four hours or eight hours respectively of appropriate leave. Employees working 12-hour shifts who are absent for their entire fourth workday in the 4-day workweek will be charged appropriate leave for only those hours within their straight- time basic work schedule and the overtime (if it is not worked) is forfeited.
A. Process for Determining Compensation
Annual and Sick Leave. An employee who works this "Two (2)-Sixteen (16) Hour Weekend Shifts Schedule" will have the following leave understandings apply:

In the event that a designated holiday occurs while an employee is on authorized sick or annual leave, the employee shall receive holiday compensation at the regular rate and will not be charged sick or annual leave for that day. Four weeks paid annual leave per annum - Ten paid holidays per year, including two floating holidays - Ten Sick Days per annum - Unpaid family medical leave up to 12 weeks MEDICAL BENEFITS / INSURANCE - Medical and life insurance for employees and their dependents effective from commencement of employment with insurance coverage for each of these paid by Mincom (refer attached plan). - Dental insurance for employees effective from the commencement of employment with insurance coverage for each of these paid by Mincom. - Dependent coverage under a dental plan is not paid by Mincom but is available as a salary deduction. - Accidental Death and Dismemberment coverage for employees paid by Mincom 60% of their salary up to a total of $1500 and after 90 days with 60% of their salary up to a maximum of $5000. - Voluntary Participation in the Section 125 Cafeteria Plan. SUPERANNUATION - Participation in the 401(K) Plan with Mincom matching 50% of the employee's contribution to a maximum of 6% and subject to a government regulated maximum of approximately $10,000 per annum. OTHER STANDARD BENEFITS - $100 annual allowance towards a health club membership upon proof of membership - After 6 months, Tuition Reimbursement Program, providing partial assistance to qualifying employees for undergraduate and graduate courses. SUMMARY OF STANDARD BENEFITS FOR AUSTRALIAN EMPLOYEES Listed below is a brief summary of the standard benefits that are currently offered to PTM employees in Australia as part of their total remuneration package. This does not include the salary and incentive details which are specified in each employees' individual employment contract.
Annual and Sick Leave. The policies and procedures for requesting annual and sick leave will remain the same except the amount of leave taken for the entire day will be recorded as 8 hours for the 8-hour day and 9 hours for the 9-hour day and 10 hours for the 10-hour day.
