Budget Committee a) The Budget Committee will consist of representatives of the Governing Board that volunteer to be a named participant on the Budget Committee. b) The responsibilities of the Budget Committee include: i) assisting the Treasurer in preparation of annual budgets that adhere to the principles and guidelines established by the Governing Board; ii) developing and reporting metrics for the allocation of budget in relation to meeting the priorities of the Governing Board; iii) reviewing the progress of the Directed Fund against the annual budget; iv) preparing forecasts for future financial needs of the Directed Fund; and v) such other matters related to finance and the financial operation of the Directed Fund as may be directed to the Budget Committee by the Governing Board. c) The Treasurer shall be chairperson of the Budget Committee.
Budget CommitteeIt is agreed United Faculty may select a United Faculty Committee of no more than eight (8) members to meet with the Vice Chancellor of Finance and Administration as a "Budget Policy, Allocation and Review Committee." Such meetings shall be called by the Vice Chancellor of Finance and Administration every two (2) months for the purpose of reviewing budgetary information, receiving input, and consulting with the representatives of the United Faculty; the meeting shall not be for the purpose of negotiations. 3.8.1 It is agreed United Faculty may select a United Faculty Committee of no more than six (6) members to meet with the College President and/or designee(s) on the respective campuses for the purpose of reviewing campus budget information. Such meetings shall be called by the respective President and/or designee(s) on an approximate bi-monthly basis. 3.8.2 Any such meetings shall be without released time payment for faculty participants.
Budget Committee. 1. Every school shall have a budget committee. The budget committee shall be comprised of all department/grade level chairpersons or volunteer representatives from each department or grade level, selected by the Principal where the school does not have department/grade level chairpersons, the currently identified VTO xxxxxxx or other building representative appointed by VTO and a member of the faculty elected by the faculty. The election shall be conducted by the VTO xxxxxxx. If any chair chooses not to serve in this capacity, he will conduct an election within the department so as to determine who will serve in his place. 2. The budget committee shall elect its own committee chairperson. The chairperson shall be responsible for the transmitting of budget information regarding the school budget to their committee and the faculty council. 3. The budget committee shall make recommendations, in recorded form, to the principal pertaining to the allocations of instructional non-salary general revenue funds. The budget committee shall seek the input of the faculty council, and members of their constituency, prior to making its recommendations. 4. After the monies are distributed, no change in the distribution within a school center will be made without the approval of the members of the budget committee. The budget committee will provide a process for emergency allocations when school is not in session. 5. The individual school budget allocations will be adjusted to reflect the changes in enrollment after the first FTE count of the school year. Unusual fluctuations in student enrollment within the individual school will be considered for subsequent changes in budget allocations. 6. The written recommendation or results shall be given to all teachers at the school.

Budget Committee. DETERMINATIONS.—For purposes of this concurrent resolution, the levels of new budget authority, outlays, direct spending, new entitlement authority, revenues, deficits, and surpluses for a fiscal year or period of fiscal years shall be deter- mined on the basis of estimates made by the chair of the Committee on the Budget of the applicable House of Congress.
