Classified Salary Schedules. The hourly wage schedules for classified employees applicable to each year of this Agreement appear in Appendix C. The normal contract year for classified employees will commence no earlier than August 16 and will consist of one hundred eighty‐six (186) contract days, which includes six (6) paid holidays. New personnel may be required to attend additional orientation sessions, which may occur in the week prior to that required of incumbents. The normal workweek is Monday through Friday. The normal workday by job classification is as follows: Para‐Professionals 7 Hours per Day Secretary 7 to 8 Hours per Day Custodian 4 to 8 Hours per Day Cafeteria 2 to 7 ½ Hours per Day Bus Drivers 1 ½ to 3 Hours per Day The following classified positions are eligible for the number of days of extended time as indicated which extends their work calendar outside the normal calendar limits: Custodians Extra Days to Total 261 Days Elementary & MS/HS Building Secretary 30 Days Athletic Secretary 10 Days Guidance Secretary 10 Days All classified employees will sign off on job descriptions annually via Public School Works.

  • Salary Schedules (a) The salary schedules shall be incorporated into this Agreement as Appendix V.

  • Status of Salary Schedule The salary schedules are not to be construed as part of a teacher’s continuing contract. In the event a successor Agreement is not entered into prior to the expiration date of this Agreement, a teacher shall be compensated according to the previous year’s compensation until such time that a successor Agreement is executed.

  • Salary Schedule Progression Employees shall progress from step to step in salary grade on the basis of satisfactory job performance based upon established standards of performance. Seasonal employee's initial anniversary date shall be established after being in pay status for two thousand eighty (2,080) hours. Such date shall then be used for annual performance evaluation and step progression consideration. When an employee's anniversary date falls on any day from the first day of a pay week through Wednesday of the pay week, the employee's merit increase shall be effective as of the first day of the pay week within which the anniversary date falls. Otherwise, the merit increase shall be effective on the first day of the next pay week. Grievances arising from the denial of merit increases shall not be arbitrable under this Agreement but shall be processed as follows:

  • SUPPLEMENTAL SALARY SCHEDULE 12.01 Every effort shall be made by the Board to post supplemental positions in a timely manner each school year. Teachers in the bargaining unit may apply for the supplemental vacancy within ten (10) working days of each posting. If no qualified bargaining unit member applies for the supplemental position, the Board may fill the vacancy with individuals not in the bargaining unit.

  • Deferred Salary Scheme Employees may apply to have their salary payments deferred in accordance with the provisions of this clause.

  • Placement on Salary Schedule The following rules shall be applicable in determining placement of a teacher on the appropriate salary schedule:

  • Salary Schedule Placement 1. Credit hours for the purpose of placement on the salary schedule shall be defined as those semester hour credits earned for graduate courses that are within the teacher’s present certification or a planned program leading to additional areas of teacher certification, guidance or administration. Upon approval of the Superintendent, any other courses, graduate or undergraduate may be certified for proper placement on the salary schedule.

  • SALARY STEP PLAN AND SALARY ADJUSTMENTS 198. Appointments to positions in the City and County Service shall be at the entrance rate established for the position except as otherwise provided herein.
