Compensation for Paid Holidays Falling on a Scheduled Day Off. When any of the above-noted holidays fall on an employee’s scheduled day off on the above holidays and the employee is eligible to receive holiday pay, the employee shall receive holiday pay as set out in Article 19.01.

Compensation for Paid Holidays Falling on a Scheduled Day Off. When any of the above noted paid holidays fall on an Employee's scheduled day off, the Employee shall receive another day off with pay at a time mutually agreeable. Holiday pay shall be in accordance with the Employment Standards Act formula. The maximum hours for a stat is 7.5 (seven and one half) hours for employees working 75 (seventy-five) hours in a 2 (two) week period or 8.0 (eight) hours for employees working 80 (eighty) hours in a 2 (two) week period.
Compensation for Paid Holidays Falling on a Scheduled Day Off. (PT) A part-time employee who is not required to work on a paid holiday will receive holiday pay for the holiday based on the formula as set out in the Employment Standards Act as amended from time to time. Such payment for holiday pay is conditional upon an employee working his/her last regularly scheduled day of work before the public holiday and all of his/her regularly scheduled day of work after the public holiday, unless there is reasonable cause for such absence.

The scheduling of the lieu day shall be in accordance with Appendix 4.

  • Holiday Falling on a Day of Rest (a) When a paid holiday falls on an employee's day of rest, the employee shall be entitled to a day off with pay in lieu.

  • Compensation for Holidays Falling Within Vacation Schedule If a paid holiday falls on or is observed during an employee's vacation period, he/she shall be allowed an additional vacation day with pay at a time mutually agreed upon by the Employer and employee.

  • Holiday Coinciding with a Day of Vacation Where an employee is on vacation leave and a day of paid holiday falls within that period, the paid holiday shall not count as a day of vacation.

  • Compensation for Work on Holidays 1. An employee who is required to work on Columbus Day, Veteran's Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx, Xx.'s Birthday, Xxxxxxx's Birthday or Washington's Birthday and who meets the eligibility requirements contained herein shall receive his or her regular pay for each hour worked. Work performed on a holiday which is overtime as defined in Article I, Section 1.A., shall be compensated as provided in Article I, Section 2.C.1.
