COMPETENCY OF BIDDERS. Bidders must be capable of performing the various items of work bid upon. They may be required to furnish a statement covering experience on similar work, list of machinery, plant and other equipment available for the proposed work, and such statement of their financial resources as may be deemed necessary. TENDER DOCUMENTS: Tenders which are incomplete, conditional, or obscure, or which contain additions not called for, erasures, alterations, or irregularities of any kind, may be rejected as informal. All blanks must be legibly and properly filled in on the printed forms supplied for that purpose, otherwise the Tender may be declared informal. Should any uncertainty arise as to the proper manner of doing so, the requisite information will, upon request, be given by the Township. The Township shall not, under any circumstances, be responsible for any costs incurred by the Tenderer in the preparing of its Tender. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Tenders or to accept any Tender should it be deemed in the interest of the Owner to do so. DATE & PLACE FOR RECEIVING TENDERS:

COMPETENCY OF BIDDERS. In selecting the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, consideration will be given not only to the financial standing but also to the general competency of the bidder for the performance of the Project. By submitting a bid, each bidder agrees that the DISTRICT, in determining the successful bidder and its eligibility for the award, may consider the bidder’s experience and facilities, conduct and performance under other contracts, financial condition, reputation in the industry, and other factors which could affect the bidder’s performance of the Project. The DISTRICT may also consider the qualifications and experience of subcontractors and other persons and organizations (including those who are to furnish the principal items of material and equipment) proposed for those portions of the work. Operating costs, maintenance considerations, performance data and guarantees of materials and equipment may also be considered by the DISTRICT. In this regard, the DISTRICT may conduct such investigations as the DISTRICT deems necessary to assist in the evaluation of any bid and to establish the responsibility, qualifications and financial ability of the bidder, proposed subcontractors, and other persons and organizations to do the work to the DISTRICT’S satisfaction within the prescribed time. The DISTRICT reserves the right to reject the bid of any bidder who does not pass any such evaluation to the satisfaction of the DISTRICT.
COMPETENCY OF BIDDERS. It is the intent of the Agency to award a Contract only to a Bidder who furnishes satisfactory evidence of requisite experience and ability and has sufficient capital, facilities, and plant to prosecute the Work successfully and promptly and complete the Work within the time stated in the Contract. If required by the Special Provisions, a statement of experience and business standing, together with that of all Subcontractors designated in the Bid, must be submitted on an Agency- provided form by the 3 apparent low Bidders within 3 Working Days of Bid opening. To determine the experience of a Bidder, relevant evidence that the Bidder, or personnel, has satisfactorily performed on other contracts of similar nature and magnitude or difficulty will be considered.
COMPETENCY OF BIDDERS. A. Pre-award inspection of the Bidder's facility may be made prior to the award of contract. Bids will be considered only from firms which are regularly engaged in the business of providing the goods and/or services as described in this Bid(s); have a record of performance for a reasonable period of time; and have sufficient financial support, equipment and organization to ensure that they can satisfactorily deliver the material and/or services if awarded a Contract under the terms and conditions herein stated. The terms "equipment and organization" as used herein shall be construed to mean a fully equipped and well established company in line with the best business practices in the industry and as determined by the proper authorities of the Town.
COMPETENCY OF BIDDERS. Bids shall be considered only from firms that have been continuously engaged in providing products and services similar to those specified herein for a reasonable period and that are presently engaged in the provision of these services. Contract(s) will be awarded only to responsible and responsive Bidder(s) licensed and qualified by experience to do the work specified. The Bidder shall submit, prior to award of Contract, satisfactory evidence of his experience in like work and that bidder is fully prepared with the necessary organization, capital, and equipment to complete the Scope of Services. Bidder shall be insured, licensed, and certified by all applicable local, county, and state agencies.
COMPETENCY OF BIDDERS. 14.1 Bidders may be required to submit duplicate sworn statements of their financial responsibility, technical qualifications and performance record before contract is awarded to them.
COMPETENCY OF BIDDERS. To be submitted by the Bidder ONLY UPON REQUEST of the Xxxxxx County Board of Commissioners All questions must be answered and the date given must be clear and comprehensive. This statement must be notarized. IF necessary, questions may be answered on separate attached sheets. The Bidder may submit any additional information he desires.
