Completion of Program. Upon successful completion of the courses, the Employee agrees to remain in the employ of the City of Hamilton for a period of two (2) years. Should the Employee choose to leave the City of Hamilton within the first year of the two-year period mentioned above, they acknowledge that the amount of wages paid to the Employee during the first year of the classroom portion of the course represents a debt which the City of Xxxxxxxx may satisfy through deductions from wages, vacation pay or other appropriate means. Should the Employee choose to leave the City of Hamilton within the 2nd year of the two-year period mentioned above, they acknowledge that half of the amount of wages paid to the Employee during the first year of the classroom portion of the course represents a debt which the City of Xxxxxxxx may satisfy through deductions from wages, vacation pay or other appropriate means. Regular progress assessments will be conducted. These shall not be subject to the grievance procedure. The Manager of Transit Fleet Maintenance, based on the requirements and guidelines of the Apprenticeship Program, will have sole discretion to decide if progress and performance are adequate to continue in the Apprenticeship Program.

Completion of Program a. By accepting tuition assistance, members agree to continue their employment by the district for three (3) years after completion of an approved plan of study. If a member leaves the district prior to completing an approved plan of study or prior to expiration of the three-year period after completion, an amount equal to the total amount of tuition assistance received by the member will be deducted from the member’s final payroll check. Upon approval of the Board of Education, the pay back will be prorated when extreme circumstances, such as critical illness or spousal relocation, necessitate the member leaving the district. Proration will be according to the number of years the member has worked beyond the completion of the approved plan of study. Such deduction shall not exceed the amount of the member’s final payroll check after deducting taxes and insurance. No such deduction will be made if the member’s employment is terminated or non-renewed by the District within three years after completion of an approved plan of study. b. If a member fails to complete an approved plan of study and continues to be employed by the district, an amount equal to the total amount of tuition assistance received by the member will be deducted from the member’s final payroll check of the fiscal year when the plan of study was dropped. Such deduction shall not exceed the amount of the member’s final payroll check after deducting taxes and insurance.
Completion of Program a) You have the right to complete the program at one go or complete the 2nd year of the masters later. In such cases where a deferment is sought, You can complete the second year of masters in 36 months from the date of completion of Year 1 however the enrolment to the Year 2 should be done no later than 12 months from the completion of Year 1. b) The assessment by the University to complete the Program shall be in addition to assessment and training by Company during the Training Period. c) You will be entitled to a Master’s degree from the University on completion of the Program.

Certification of graduation from his/her respective program will be contingent upon the Trainee having, on or before the date of completion, satisfactorily completed all program requirements at the Hospital for the Resident’s training program including those of the specialty as determined by the Residency Review Committee of the ACGME and the Board of the medical or surgical specialty, returned all Hospital property, completed all records and settled his or her financial obligations. B. A Check-Out Form, which is obtained from the OME must be completed prior to leaving. C. The Hospital does not guarantee the award of a degree or a certificate of satisfactory completion of any course of study or training program to students/residents enrolled in any instructional or training program. The award of degrees and certificates of satisfactory completion is conditioned upon satisfaction of all current degree and instructional requirements at the time of such award, compliance with the Hospital and Program regulations, as well as performance and conduct meeting bona expectations of faculty. No member of the faculty is obliged to provide students, residents or graduates with an evaluation or letter of recommendation which does not accurately reflect that faculty member’s true opinion and evaluation of academic performance and conduct.
Completion of Program. In the event of program reduction, the University will allow residents already in an affected ACGME-accredited program(s) to complete their education at the Sponsoring Institution or assist them in enrolling in (an)other ACGME-accredited program(s) in which they can continue their education.
