Compulsory Check-Off. (a) The Corporation will, as a condition of employment, deduct an amount equivalent to the membership dues of the Association from each two- week pay period of all employees, term and temporary employees as defined in Clause 2.01(h) in the bargaining unit it represents. (b) The Corporation will not levy a charge upon the Association for rendering this service.

Compulsory Check-Off. (a) The Corporation shall, as a condition of employment, deduct from the monthly earnings of all the employees in the bargaining unit, the ordinary membership dues of the Union, the amount of which may vary according to different locations. (b) The Corporation shall not levy a charge upon the Union or its members for rendering this service. (c) Subject to the provisions of this article, the Corporation shall also deduct, as Union dues, a special levy ordered by the Union, not more than once a year, provided that this levy is uniform and is payable by all the employees of the bargaining unit. The special levy shall, at the request of the Union, be deducted over a period of more than one (1) month.
Compulsory Check-Off. ‌ Subject to the provisions of this Article, the Corporation will, as a condition of employment, deduct an amount equal to the monthly membership dues from the monthly pay of all employees in the bargaining unit. Where an employee does not have sufficient earnings in respect of any month to permit deductions made under this Article, the Corporation shall not be obligated to make such deduction from subsequent salary.
Compulsory Check-Off. 13.01.1 The Company shall deduct a fixed sum of money equivalent to one quarter of the monthly Union dues from the pay of all employees covered by this Agreement, on the first four weekly pay periods of each calendar month, and shall remit the same prior to the fifteenth (15th) day of the following month, by cheque to the Financial Secretary, United Cement, Lime, Gypsum and Allied Workers Division of International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, AFL-CIO-CLC, and marked "for deposit only". 13.01.2 The said sum shall be accepted by the Union as the regular monthly Union dues for those employees who are members of the Union and the sum so deducted from non-Union employees shall be treated as their contribution towards the expenses of maintaining the Union. 13.02 Upon completing the probationary period, the employee shall have deducted from their pay, an amount to be remitted to the Financial Secretary Treasurer United Cement, Lime, Gypsum and Allied Workers Division of International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, AFL-CIO-CLC, in the form of a cheque and marked "for deposit only". Total amount of Union Dues (not initiation fees) paid by an employee shall be included in the T-4 Slip. 13.03.1 All employees who are members of the Union in good standing as of the effective date of this Agreement, shall continue their membership as a condition of employment. 13.03.2 All employees hired after the effective date of this Agreement shall become and remain members in good standing of the Union, as a condition of employment, as soon as their probationary period is over.
Compulsory Check-Off. 5.01 The Company agrees to deduct Union dues from pay on a weekly basis up to a maximum as set by the Union for all employees certified as the bargaining unit. If any such employee is absent at the time of deduction, the dues for this week are to be deducted together with the next week’s dues. The Company will remit the money thus collected to the Treasurer of the local Union during the month in which the deduction is made.

Compulsory Check-Off. Upon receipt of authorization cards duly signed by the Employee, regular monthly union dues shall be deducted from the pay of each Employee and forwarded to the Financial Secretary of the Union before the tenth (10th) of the following month, accompanied by a list of Employees on whose behalf the deductions were made.

A new employee will have the opportunity to meet with a Union Xxxxxxx for a period of fifteen (15) minutes without loss of pay or benefits. The purpose of the meeting will be to introduce the new employee to his Union Xxxxxxx, as well as acquaint the new employee with the benefits and duties of union membership and his responsibilities and obligations with respect to the Collective Agreement.

The company shall show the yearly dues deducted on employee / owner operator statements of earnings. (b) The Company shall not levy a charge upon the Union or its members for rendering this service. (c) Subject to the provisions of this Article, the Company shall also deduct, as Union dues, a special levy ordered by the Union, not more than once a year, provided that this levy is uniform and is payable by all the members of the bargaining unit. Compulsory Check-Off. 21.01 Except as hereinafter provided, the Division will deduct Union dues, only from Regular and Temporary Employees, whether or not an Employee is a member of the Union, on a monthly basis, the amount of regular monthly membership dues payable by a member of the Union. 21.02 The Union agrees that in accordance with The Labour Relations Act, an Employee, whom by affidavit, states that he or she is a member of a religious body or sect that precludes membership in or financial support to a Trade Union, the monies collected shall be turned over to a charity of the Employee's choice. 21.03 These dues will be forwarded to the Treasurer of the Union by the twentieth (20th) of the month following deduction.
