CTO. As used herein, "CTO" refers to compensatory time off hours credited to a sworn employee’s CTO time banks.
CTO. A bargaining unit employee who has an annual reserve commitment and whose normal weekly pay exceeds the service pay will be offered a pay differential for the first ten days in any calendar year. To receive this benefit, eligible employees are required to submit a copy of their military leave and earnings statement for the covered period. Differential wage payments to an employee on qualified military service are considered “wages” subject to federal income tax withholding. Military pay differential is paid via payroll check. After ten days, the employee may elect to be paid Combined Time Off (CTO) hours during the period of active duty or take an excused absence without pay, or a combination of both. It is the bargaining unit employee’s responsibility to inform UVMMC whether to use CTO time. If UVMMC is not informed, available CTO will not be used.
CTO. The Combined Time Off (CTO) program provides employees with paid time off consistent with their position and length of service and encourages flexibility in usage of paid time off through scheduled and unscheduled absences, as well as a cash-in provision. All full-time and part-time bargaining unit employees are eligible to accrue CTO hours.
CTO. A communications officer or communications supervisor with a Trainee Employee assigned to work with them will receive additional compensation added to their base wage for each hour working with the trainee. CTO. The CTO shall be lifted, rescinded or revoked or shall otherwise, in the sole and absolute discretion of the Purchaser, not have: (i) the effect of making any of the Transactions illegal; or (ii) the effect of otherwise prohibiting, preventing or restraining the consummation of any of the Transactions contemplated by this Subscription Agreement.
