Cumulative Personal Leave. Ten (10) days paid leave per year (cumulative) for use by an Employee (other than a casual) as: (i) Sick Leave; or (ii) Carer’s Leave; and in addition:
Cumulative Personal Leave. 45.4.1 An Employee is entitled to use accumulated personal leave for personal injury or sickness if the Employee has already used the current year's personal leave entitlement as personal leave for personal injury or sickness. 45.4.2 Personal leave entitlements which are untaken at the completion of the year shall accumulate. 45.4.3 Accumulated personal leave, including that accrued to the date of the Agreement, shall be transferable within the field of employment in any hospital, benevolent home, community health centre, Society or Association registered under the Health Services Act 1988 (or the former Hospitals and Charities Act 1958) or the Cancer Institute (constituted under the Cancer Act 1958). Provided that an Employee shall, within two weeks of commencing employment, make a written declaration or produce a written statement acceptable to the Employer as to what personal leave has been taken during the period of his or her previous employment. 45.4.4 An Employee who contracts an infectious disease in the course of his or her duties and who is entitled to receive workers compensation shall have any difference between workers compensation and his or her ordinary salary made up by the Employer up to but not exceeding three months. An Employee who contracts an infectious disease in the course of his or her duties and having same certified to by the Medical Superintendent or by a Medical Practitioner approved by the Employer (and who is not entitled to receive workers compensation) shall receive full pay during the necessary period off duty up to but not exceeding three months. Sick pay granted under this clause shall not be debited against any personal leave which the Employee may have become entitled to under the preceding clauses.
Cumulative Personal Leave. Personal leave shall accumulate from year to year so that any balance of the period specified in clause 7.5.5 which has in any year not been allowed to an employee by an employer as paid personal leave may be claimed by the employee and subject to the conditions herein before prescribed shall be allowed by that employer in any subsequent year without diminution of the personal leave prescribed in respect of that year. Personal leave which accumulates pursuant to this clause 7.5.8 shall be available to the employee for an unlimited period.

Cumulative Personal Leave. Personal leave does not accumulate and full-time (part-time on a pro rata basis) employees only accrue and may only use a maximum of 10 days of personal leave in each 12 month period. However, sick leave and annual leave are cumulative and shall continue to accumulate from year to year if they remain unused.
Cumulative Personal Leave. The rights under this Clause shall accumulate from year to year so that any part of the personal leave entitlements which has not been allowed in any year may, subject to the conditions prescribed by this clause, be claimed by the employee and shall be allowed by the employer in any subsequent year of employment.

  • Personal Leave of Absence The Administrator may grant a request for leave of absence for personal reasons without pay provided that he receives at least one (1) month's clear notice, in writing, unless impossible, and provided that such leave may be arranged without undue inconvenience to the normal operations of the Nursing Home.   • Unpaid Personal Leave Where an employee has exhausted all paid personal leave entitlements, they are entitled to take unpaid personal leave to care for members of their immediate family or household who are sick and require care and support or who require care due to an unexpected emergency. The employer and the employee shall agree on the period. In the absence of agreement, the employee is entitled to take up to two days (up to a maximum of 16 hours) of unpaid leave per occasion, provided the requirements of 7.2.5(a) and 7.2.5(b) are met.

  • Personal/Xxxxx’s Leave 7.3.1 All full time employees shall be entitled to accrue paid personal / carer's leave on the basis of 10 days per year (or pro-rata thereof for any period less than one year). Part-time employees are entitled to a pro-rata benefit. (b) Where circumstances permit, an employee must endeavour to arrange leave to minimise the impact on operational needs. (c) The provision of appropriate documentary evidence. 1. For sick leave, a medical certificate or if not reasonably practicable to provide a medical certificate- a statutory declaration made by the employee. 2. For xxxxx's leave, a medical certificate in respect to the family or household member, or a statutory declaration by the employee. 3. For compassionate leave, any evidence that the employer reasonably requires. 7.3.5 The employee is not entitled to take more than 10 days of paid xxxxx’s leave (1/26th of the nominal hours worked by the employee) per year, regardless of the amount of personal leave the employee has accumulated over time. 7.3.6 An employee may request to cash out any amount of paid personal/carer’s leave that they have accrued that is excess of 3/52 of the number of nominal hours worked over the past 12 months. For example, an employee working 38 hours per week over 12 months must retain 15 days of paid personal/carer’s leave and may cash out any further personal/carer’s leave that has been accumulated. 7.3.7 In addition to the above, a request to cash out personal/carer’s leave will only be granted where: (a) the employee elects to cash out their leave in writing; and (b) the employer agrees. 7.3.8 Casual Employees engaged in continuous service shall be entitled to personal leave limited to the provision of sub clause 7.3.
