Personal Leave Entitlement. (a) Every full-time employee (other than a casual) shall become entitled to not less than 76 hours personal/carer's leave for each completed year of employment with the Employer. Such paid leave will accrue fortnightly.
(b) No part time employee shall be entitled to paid personal/carer's leave within each year of employment exceeding the proportion of seventy six (76) hours pay that the employee’s average weekly working hours bears to thirty-eight (38) hours per week.
(c) A part time employee’s entitlement to paid personal/xxxxx's leave shall relate to the number of hours that employee would otherwise have been rostered to work on the day or days when personal leave is taken.
Personal Leave Entitlement a. Full-time and part-time team members are entitled to take personal leave when they are unable to attend work on a day that they are rostered to work, due to a personal illness or injury.
b. A full-time team member is entitled to 10 days paid personal leave per year in accordance with the NES plus 1 additional paid day, 11 days per year in total. Part-time team members are entitled to 11 days paid personal leave calculated on a pro-rated basis in accordance with their ordinary hours of work. Casual team members are not entitled to paid personal leave.
c. Personal leave accrues progressively. Unused personal leave accumulates from year to year, but is not paid out on termination of employment for any reason.
d. When paid personal leave is taken, team members will be paid their base rate of pay for the hours normally rostered to work. Penalty rates are not applied.
e. A team member is not entitled to paid personal leave for any period in respect of which they are entitled to workers’ compensation.
Personal Leave Entitlement. Full time Employees will be allowed up to ten (10) days leave in each year of employment for sickness and other special circumstances including, but not limited to, carers leave. During the first year of employment an Employees personal leave entitlement will accumulate at the rate of one (1) day for each of the first ten (10) calendar months. Employees will be allowed two (2) single days of absence in each year of employment, for the purposes of sick leave, where the need to produce a medical certificate is waived. Unused sick and special leave entitlements will accumulate from year to year.
Personal Leave Entitlement. (a) A full time Employee is entitled to paid personal/carer’s leave of 114 hours A part- time Employee is entitled to pro-rata amount of paid personal/carer’s leave based on the part-time Employee’s hours of work.
(b) Leave will be credited on commencement of employment and subsequently on the anniversary date of the Employee’s employment.
(c) Employees appointed to a fixed-term period will accrue on a pro-rata basis paid personal/carer’s leave according to length of their service.
(d) Leave without pay will not count as service for personal/carer’s leave accrual purposes.
(e) Accrued personal/xxxxx’s leave will not be paid out on termination of employment.
Personal Leave Entitlement. Whilst employees are able to access personal leave in accordance with clause 21.24 of the General Agreement, to ensure compliance with the Minimum Conditions of Employment Act 1993 a minimum of 75 hours must be available to employees for the purposes of an employee’s entitlement to paid leave for illness or injury; or carer’s leave [clause 21.11].
Personal Leave Entitlement. (a) Every employee, other than a casual employee, shall become entitled to not less than 76 hours paid Personal/Carer’s Leave for each year of employment with Anglicare SQ.
Personal Leave Entitlement. 37.1.1 A Full-time Employee is entitled to 75 hours (10 days) of Personal Leave on full pay for each year of continuous Service. Personal leave will accrue on a daily basis during periods of continuous service and paid Personal Leave entitlements will accumulate from year to year.
37.1.2 Part-time Employees are entitled to Personal leave proportionateto hours worked.
37.1.3 An Employee may take Personal leave for any of thefollowing absences: unfit for work due to personal illness or injury; to attend an appointment with a registered health professional; to provide the employee’s immediate family or member of household with care or support due to personal illness or injury, or in relation to a personal emergency affecting that person; to attend to matters related to family or domestic violence as per the University’s policies and procedures; as a result of special or exceptional circumstances; to attend ceremonial or cultural events to comply with traditional customs and laws.
37.1.4 Personal leave absences for reasons prescribed in clauses 37.1.3 e) and f) will not exceed 37.5 hours or five days in a calendar year and the Employee will make every reasonable effort to gain prior approval from the Director.
Personal Leave Entitlement. 12.1.1 Full time and part time team members are entitled to take personal leave when they are unable to attend work on a day that they are rostered to work, due to a personal illness or injury.
12.1.2 A full time team member is entitled to 10 days paid personal leave per year in accordance with the NES plus 1 additional paid day, 11 days per year in total. Part time team members are entitled to 11 paid days personal leave on a pro-rata basis depending on their ordinary hours of work. Casual team members are not entitled to paid personal leave.
Personal Leave Entitlement. An Employee is entitled to personal leave in accordance with the Australian Fair Pay and Conditions Standard. This leave accrues on a pro-rata basis and can be used for absences from work either: • due to personal illness or injury (Sick Leave) or; • to provide care or support to a member of your immediate family, or a member of your household who requires your care or support because of a personal illness or injury of that person or an unexpected emergency affecting that person (Xxxxx’s Leave). For the purposes of this clause and Clause 10, ‘immediate family’ means: • the Employee’s spouse (including former spouse, a defacto spouse or former de facto spouse); or
Personal Leave Entitlement. 41.2.1 A pilot, is entitled to be paid personal leave in the following circumstances:
(a) when the pilot is absent from work due to personal injury or illness (sick leave);
(b) for the purposes of caring for a member of the pilot’s immediate family or household who is sick and who requires the pilot’s care and support (xxxxx’s leave);
41.2.2 The amount of personal leave to which a pilot is entitled depends on how long he or she has worked for the employer and accrues as follows: Less than 1 month 5 days 5 1 month to less than 3 months 1 day 6 3 months to less than 6 months 6 days 12 6 months to less than 12 months 8 days 20 each year thereafter 15 days
41.2.3 In any year, unused personal leave accumulates at the rate of the lesser of:
(a) the current year’s sick leave entitlement less the number of sick leave days taken; and
(b) the balance of that year’s unused personal leave.
41.2.4 Personal leave will not be compensated upon the termination of employment.
41.2.5 The entitlement to use personal leave for the purpose of xxxxx’s leave is subject to the person being either:
(a) a member of the pilot’s immediate family; or
(b) a member of the pilot’s household.
