DAY SCHOOL WEEK. 00-0Xxx Xxxxxxxx has negotiated over the impacts and effects of the decision to implement a 4- day school week at school sites. a. No Employee or position of the recognized bargaining unit, employed in work sites implementing a 4- day school week, lose salary, hours of work, benefits or any other rights provided by this negotiated agreement solely due to the change to a 4- day school week . x. Xxxxxx Elementary Schools staying on a five-day week will not be affected by any changes made that effect employees affected by the 4-day week. c. An Employee working more than 40 hours in any normal work week shall be compensated at the rate of 1.5 times the Employee’s current rate of pay. 21-2 The hours in the workday for any retuning bus driver from the 2015-2016 school year, will be determined by the needs of the routes. The total number of route hours per week will be no less than hours for the 2015-2016 school year. The drivers will make up the difference between the four(4) day regular workday total hours by one or both of the following methods: a. If they take a field/activity trip on a Friday or Saturday of any week they may be paid for the standby hours on the trip at their regular rate of pay in lieu of the current standby rate, up to the number of hours they are short. They may accumulate these un-worked hours on a calendar month basis. All hours must be worked by the last day of the current school year. b. Drivers will perform other duties at the school site per the Superintendent’s or his designee direction. These duties may include but not be limited to cleaning windows. Sweeping, vacuuming, or fueling any District vehicle (not including their regularly assigned bus). This and any other assigned work will be done contiguously at the end of the morning route or contiguously prior to the afternoon route. 21-3 For the purpose of a 4-day school week, all references in this negotiated agreement to calendar days shall not change. All other references to workdays, leave days, and benefits related items in the negotiated agreement shall be converted from days to hours. a. Employees working more than five (5) hours per day will be granted one (1) thirty (30) minute duty free non-paid lunch break.   • Day Shift The standard work day will consist of eight (8) hours worked between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. with a designated thirty (30) minute lunch period. Starting and stopping times to be determined by mutual agreement between the Company and the shop employees.

  • School Year Teacher assignable time will be capped at 1200 hours per school year.

  • School Day The school day for members of the bargaining unit shall not exceed seven and one-half (7½) hours of consecutive time which shall include a duty-free, uninterrupted lunch period of no less than thirty (30) minutes.

  • Monday morning The employee should not work more than 16 hours without an 8 hour break.

  • School Calendar The Dual Credit course schedule will be determined by the location of the course delivery, provided that the required contact hours and prerequisites are met. The instructional calendar for the high school portion of the School will be based on the School District calendar and comply with all related TEA regulations for school attendance. The School District will adjust its schedule as necessary to enable Students to enroll in and attend the college- level courses provided by College. The School District and College will coordinate the State Student assessment requirements to ensure said assessments are administered without penalty. The School District, School and College will ensure that the School calendar accounts for the required per-semester contact hours for courses. When the instructional delivery is on the College site, it may be necessary for Students to attend classes on days when the School District is closed (e.g., different holiday closures). When Students take classes at the College scheduled on days when School is closed, the School District will ensure that at least one staff member with administrative authority be on call and available to be reached by the College’s Office of High School Programs or other College staff in case of emergency. The designated School staff member will have access to Student emergency contact information. While the College agrees to make scheduling accommodations for required State assessments, including the STAAR and End of Course Exams, all contact hour requirements must be met. For assessments not mandated by the State, the College and School District will come to a mutual agreement on administration dates in order to appropriately manage disruptions of college courses and ensure contact hour requirements are met.

  • Length of School Year 4.6.1 Except where reduced by any lawful decision of the employer to close the school to students, the length of the school year for each school shall be determined according to the requirement that schools are required to be open for at least 380 half days in any one calendar year. 4.6.2 The normal teaching load of teachers in respect of any one year is therefore related to that requirement.

  • WORKING DAY BEFORE AUCTION DATE Any intending bidder who intends to bid on behalf of another person, body corporate or firm is required to deposit with the Auctioneer prior to the auction sale an authority letter to state that he/she is acting on behalf of another person, body corporate or firm and he/she is authorised to sign all the necessary documents. A foreign citizen/foreign company may be allowed to bid for the property and if the bid is successful, the sale is subject to the foreign citizen/company applying and obtaining at his/her/its own cost to the Economic Planning Unit (if applicable) and/or relevant State Authority for the unconditional consent to the sale within the period stated in Clause 11 hereof but subject to Clause 22 hereof.

  • Length of School Day 4.4.1 For each school the length of the “school day” shall be determined according to the requirement that students are normally required to be in attendance for two HD, one before noon, the other after noon. 4.4.2 The normal teaching load in respect of any one day is therefore related to that requirement and takes account of the normal timetabling practices of each school.

  • Weekly An employee whose compensation is fixed on a weekly basis shall be paid bi-weekly for work performed during the bi-weekly payroll period. There shall be no compensation for time not worked unless such time off is authorized time off with pay.
