Delegates Training. The TWU NSW Branch will provide the Company with a list of Delegates per site throughout Sydney. The Union has undertaken to give the Company reasonable notice, i.e. at least 7 days, of impending training requirements. It is agreed that delegate training will be organised in a manner that does not effect site operating efficiency. Such training notice will not be unreasonably withheld.
Delegates Training. Union delegates shall be allowed up to ten (10) days per year without loss of pay to attend training courses and meetings duly authorised by the State Secretary of the Union. Notice will be provided to the company fourteen (14) days before such course or meeting.
Delegates Training. The Company agrees where a Delegate is elected by Team Members, delegates can attend up to 3 days leave with pay to attend union representative training courses per calendar year. A minimum of two (2) weeks’ notice (unless otherwise mutually agreed) is to be provided to the Company to attend these courses.
Delegates Training. 17.1 Workplace relations training is specifically targeted at maintaining harmonious workplace relations between Qube and its Employees.
17.2 Unions will identify training course content and ensure that all training is delivered by appropriately qualified trainers. Unions will fund all cost associated with the development and delivery of workplace relations training programs.
17.3 Qube will allow paid release of Employees for such training, provided it does not interfere with business and operational requirements.
Delegates Training. Subject to all other qualifications in this clause, the Employer may grant an elected delegate leave with pay to attend union courses which are approved by the Employer and which are designed to promote good industrial relations within the Division. Such leave will be granted in accordance with existing policy. Provided that should such leave be granted, it shall be conditional upon the Employer being able to make adequate staffing arrangements amongst current employees. The Employer will not be required to pay for any expenses (such as travel accommodation and meals) associated with or incurred by the delegate attending the course.
Delegates Training. Employee elected delegates of the Federated Clerks Union of Australia New South Wales Branch will be able to attend training Conducted by the Union. Time allocated will be two days per annum, per delegate, without loss of income. The Federated Clerks Union of Australia will provide a minimum of 4 weeks notice for such training.
Delegates Training. The City, on written application from the union, shall release delegates, on paid time, subject to business requirements, for up to 5 working days in each calendar year per delegate to attend “other training”. Employees who attend “other training” will be paid at their Ordinary Hours Rate for a maximum of 7.6 hours per day.
Delegates Training. The Union has undertaken to give Toll reasonable notice, i.e. at least 7 days, of impending training requirements. It is agreed that delegate training will be organised in a manner that does not effect site operating efficiency. Attendance at such training will not be unreasonably with held by Toll. All training is to be approved by the relevant Group Director. Toll shall pay the carrier's remuneration for attending the training courses referred to in this clause 14 in accordance with the custom and practice within the relevant business. Toll and the delegates have agreed that all delegates meetings will be conducted, as far as practicable, at a time that has the least operational inconvenience. It is further agreed that all delegates attending such meetings should be paid for such attendance in accordance with the custom and practice within the relevant business. All meetings are to be approved by the relevant Group Director. It is further agreed that in respect of meetings generally which are called by the TWU for the specific purpose of discussing issues relating to Toll, the number of delegates attending at such meetings shall be restricted to no more than two (2) delegates from each business unit or contract where Toll engages more than 20 carriers. Where fewer than 20 carriers are engaged only one (1) delegate shall be released. The Union will undertake to give Toll no less than seven (7) days notice of its intention to call such meetings.
Delegates Training. An elected Delegate will be entitled to attend agreed Delegates Training either internally or externally. “The Union” will advise “The Company” of leave requirements in writing, giving at least 28 days’ notice to the designated HR person who will advise the operating Department. “The Company” will make reasonable efforts to ensure that Delegates are released from their duties however this will depend on business requirements. The maximum external training hours will be 304 hours for all Delegates per annum. Additional leave will be agreed with the designated HR person. Each attendee will be paid at their “Aggregate Salary” rate for approved absences and for the hours that they would normally have worked that day. No other liability will be incurred with respect to any expenses such as travel, accommodation and meals. Proof of attendance may be requested by “The Company” for payment approval.
Delegates Training. Red Australia understands the importance of the workplace union delegate. To this Red Australia agrees to allow the union delegate to attend a minimum of 3 day’s paid training every year. We would also like to have the following criteria met before training is granted on each occasion. A copy of the course content is sent to Red Australia management prior to training taken place. The content of the course is relevant to the Industrial Relations issues faced by the company. Red Australia will pay the wages for the delegate during the training. Red Australia will record the training on the individuals training record. The company will consider operational requirements before releasing the employee.
