The City agrees that deduction of Union dues for the prescribed period of time shall be authorized by the Employee’s signature on the Employee Authorization Card.

– DUES DEDUCTION AND MAINTENANCE OF MEMBERSHIP‌. The Town shall deduct regular weekly dues upon receipt of signed authorization from members (a copy of which is to be retained by the Town) and a certified statement from the Treasurer of the local unit as to the amount for dues. All such forms shall be supplied by the Association and be satisfactory to the Town. The Town shall forward all such dues so collected to the Treasurer by the 10th of each month succeeding the month in which the deductions were made. The Association shall indemnify and save the Town harmless against all claims and suits that may arise by reason of any action taken in making deductions of said dues and remitting the same to the Association pursuant to this Article. All present employees who authorize dues deduction to the Association shall, as a condition of employment, remain members of the Association in good standing during the life of this Agreement. All future employees shall have the option to join said Association after being employed for one (1) year. On signifying their intent to become members of the Association, their membership must be maintained in good standing during the period of this contract. Authorizations for such deductions shall be irrevocable for the period of this contract, shall be automatically renewed for such similar periods unless revoked by written notice to the Town and to the Association fifteen (15) days prior to the expiration of this Agreement or any extension thereof.
– DUES DEDUCTION AND MAINTENANCE OF MEMBERSHIP‌. 2.01 The Board agrees to deduct from the wages of employees the payment of dues to the Union, upon presentation of a written authorization individually executed by any employee and bearing his or her signature. Signed payroll deduction authorizations so executed shall be continuous from year to year or until such time as the employee withdraws such authorization in writing. Withdrawal of membership will only be allowed between August 21 and September 15 of any year, provided the bargaining unit member provides written notice to the treasurer of the Board and the Association president.

The University will take measures to ensure that prudent construction practices are followed, but there may be noise, dust and temporary interruption of some services. Residents may be required to temporarily or permanently relocate to facilitate construction or renovation to their residence area. There will be no compensation or reduction to your residence fees due to disruption and/or relocation.

  • Operating and Maintenance Costs The Participating Generator shall be responsible for all its costs incurred in connection with operating and maintaining the Generating Units identified in Schedule 1 for the purpose of meeting its obligations under this Agreement.

  • Maintenance of Benefits With respect to negotiable wages, hours and working conditions not covered by this Agreement, the State agrees to make no changes without appropriate prior consultation and negotiations with the Association unless such change is made to comply with law, and existing regulations, Personnel Rules, written Policies and Procedures, General Orders, General Operating Procedure, or Standard Operating Procedure.
