Such payment will be made as soon as possible after ratification of this agreement by both parties, but in no event later than the third (3rd) pay period post ratification. Thereafter, if proof of column movement is submitted to the district office prior to September 30th of each year, the appropriate column salary will be paid effective immediately. Otherwise, column movement will not be implemented until the beginning of the next school year. Teachers who achieve National Board Certification shall be paid on the M+45 column. To determine a new employee's proper place on the salary schedule, a half-year or more experience in Pennsylvania Public school teaching under a Temporary Professional or Professional contract will be used. The proper place on the salary schedule is defined on the salary guide with a maximum of three (3) years of experience equal to Step 3 on the salary schedule. (Schedule to follow based on our salary steps). All professionals shall move across salary columns as credits are earned. Step placement for all professionals will be the same in 2020-2021 as in 2019-2020.
