WAGE AND SALARY PROVISIONS. Compensation/hourly rates for bargaining unit members shall be increased annually and calculated based upon the average percentage salary increase for support employees of the Career and Technology Center’s sending school districts. The annual percentage increase will be based on the increases that sending districts have approved, either through settled Collective Bargaining Agreements for support employees (for those districts with such Agreements) or through a district’s approved budget (for those districts without recognized bargaining units), as of June 30th of each year. For example, if three of the total sending districts with recognized bargaining units have settled contracts as of June 30, 2017, the average of those three negotiated percentage increases PLUS the approved budgetary increases in those districts without bargaining units will establish the percentage increase for the CTC’s Educational Support Employees for the 2017-18 school year. If all six districts have settled contracts and approved budgets as of the next year, i.e., by June 30, 2018, the average of the percentage increases will establish the percentage increase for 2018-19. If the budget has not been settled and/or an established bargaining unit in one or more of the sending districts has not settled their contract by June 30 in any given year, those numbers shall not be factored into the CTC’s compensation schedule until the next school year. Under no circumstances will CTC employees be asked to retroactively remit compensation back to the CTC if the inclusion of a sending district’s percentage in the average would result in a retroactive reduction of the calculation of the salary schedule. As of the date of ratification of this Collective Bargaining Agreement, the percentage increase to be applied for the 2024-2025 school year is as follows: In year one of this Agreement (2024-2025); all classifications shall receive an additional fifty cents ($0.50) per hour in addition to the percentage increase denoted above.
