Equipment and Clothing Allowance i. The Board will provide hairnets and uniforms for all members of the bargaining unit as appropriate and will clean the uniforms worn by the bus mechanics, plumber, and electrician and other members of the bargaining unit based upon work duties as determined by the Board. Employees must wear the uniform provided to them by the Board when on duty, including appropriate footwear, unless excused by their respective Director. ii. The Board will pay $200 towards the purchase of Board-approved work boots and/or non-slip shoes for employees in the following job classifications: Plumber, Electrician, Lead Bus Mechanic, Bus Mechanic, Assistant Bus Mechanic, Maintenance and Repair, Van Drivers, Custodians and Food Service Personnel. Employees must submit appropriate evidence of purchase to receive reimbursement. This reimbursement, if not utilized by an employee, will expire at the end of each fiscal year. iii. The Board will pay up to $70.00 per contract year toward the purchase of Board- approved pants for kitchen service staff who cannot wear the uniform provided by the Board. Employees must submit appropriate evidence of purchase to receive reimbursement. Employees will be responsible for laundering the pants purchased.

Any reimbursement and the amount thereof shall be not greater than the Sheriff determines to be fair and reasonable, provided however that in no event shall the County assume responsibility for eyeglasses in an amount greater than $200, or a watch in an amount greater than $100, for expenses not reimbursable: County reimbursement shall be secondary to responsibility of all County insurers including workers’ compensation. The County shall not be responsible for reimbursement of any expense which can be paid from another source.

  • Training Allowance Operators who are required by the Employer to provide training to a specified level and to certify to the competency of the employees so trained shall receive twelve dollars ($12) per day while training.   • Moving Allowance With the prior approval of the Agency Head and/or his/her Designee concerning reimbursable costs, employees involuntarily transferred to a new job location fifty miles or more from the employee’s old residence than the old residence was from the old job location shall be reimbursed for receipted moving expenses, as provided in the IRS guidelines. For the purposes of this section, promotions and the exercise of any bumping option shall be considered as a voluntary transfer. Notwithstanding the above, at the discretion of the Agency Head and/or his/her Designee, employees may be reimbursed for moving expenses. 9.6.1 If an employee, whose moving expenses (all or a part) have been paid, resigns within one calendar year of the move, the Agency Head and/or his/her Designee may require the employee to reimburse the Agency for a portion of the moving expenses, based on the length of time the employee worked after the move. 9.6.2 Employees who have been involuntarily transferred or have exercised bumping rights to another geographical location of the State shall be allowed up to twenty-four hours of time off with pay for the purpose of attending to their personal affairs in their present location and establishing their personal affairs in their new location. Such time off from work must be approved in advance by the Agency Head and/or his/her Designee.

  • Protective Clothing & Equipment While not being part of any issue of protective clothing/equipment, the company shall be required to provide the following protective equipment (SAA approved) for use, when necessary, by employees during the performance of their required duties: i. safety helmets; ii. ear/hearing protection; iii. gloves;

  • Auto Allowance The Company shall provide to Executive a car allowance in an amount equal to $1,000 per month during the Employment Period.

Payment will be made by the first full paycheck of the employee’s date of hire and annually thereafter. Boots must meet applicable OSHA standards for the duties assigned.
