Uniform Issue. (a) SkyTrain Attendants will be provided with uniforms according to the following schedule: Initial issue (upon hiring) two (2) pairs of pants six (6) shirts, long or short sleeves or turtlenecks two (2) ties or bows two (2) sweaters, long sleeves or vest one (1) all weather jacket one (1) dress belt one (1) equipment belt (with pouch) one (1) equipment bag one (1) pair of storm pants one (1) identification tag two (2) pairs of shorts one (1) hat Second year issue and thereafter shall be provided based on proof of need. (b) It shall be the responsibility of each employee to ensure that all necessary fitting and tailoring has been completed upon acceptance of the uniform from the supplier. The cost of any subsequent alterations will be borne by the employee concerned. Any STA who suffers uniform damage while on duty shall have the particular piece of clothing replaced or repaired provided the clothing was damaged to a degree to make it unsuitable for future wear. (c) With prior approval of the Supervisor, SkyTrain Attendants may purchase gloves which meet Company standards for the job being performed. Upon proof of purchase, the Company will reimburse one hundred per cent (100%) of the cost as in either (i) or (ii) below: (i) One purchase per twelve (12) months to a maximum of forty dollars ($40.00). (ii) One purchase per twenty-four (24) month period to a maximum of eighty dollars ($80.00). In the event an employee leaves the Company prior to one (1) year from purchasing gloves, forty dollars ($40.00) will be recovered from the employee's final cheque. This will be based on proof of need and gloves purchased must be suitable for work performed. In either option, the employee shall submit receipts for reimbursement up to the maximum amount specified. (d) Where required, employees will be issued rainwear with replacement on proof of need. (e) STA's will receive on their pay cheques a cleaning allowance of $20.00 bi-weekly. (f) In the event the Company considers it necessary to amend the uniform schedule, the Parties will meet to discuss the matter. Should the Parties fail to reach agreement, the matter will be referred to binding mediation under the provisions of Article 3.03(d).

Uniform Issue. A. Each new sworn employee and community service officer will receive as original issue four (4) winter shirts, four (4) summer shirts, four (4) pair of trousers, one (1) parka, one (1) police jacket, one (1) rain jacket, one (1) summer hat, and one (1) winter hat. B. Each new non-sworn uniformed female will receive as original issue one (1) police jacket, two (2) vests, four (4) skirts or slacks, or combination thereof, four (4) winter shirts, and four (4) summer shirts. C. Each new non-sworn uniformed male employee will receive as original issue one (1) police jacket, four (4) winter shirts, four (4) summer shirts, and four (4) pair of trousers. D. The Department may issue alternative non-sworn uniforms or substitute original issue clothing items, as appropriate for the working conditions. In addition to the alternative uniforms, all non-sworn employees will be issued a minimum of one uniform as described above in Paragraph B and C. E. Once full accumulation is reached, articles will be replaced when they become unserviceable due to damage or wear.

Uniform Issue. 27.1. As well as appropriate OH&S equipment, all employees shall be provided at no cost with 3 shirts, 2 pairs of pants or overalls, 1 jacket and 1 hat/beanie, after I months continuous service. In the case of production staff, Production Supervisors will offer the choice of company maintained overalls or disposable outfits only if a specific task undertaken is excessively dirty. The laundry allowance per shift is listed in Clause 11.2. 27.2. Items will be replaced on a fair wear and tear basis at the discretion of the supervisor/manager. 27.3. Maintenance personnel will be provided with 5 pairs of overalls. These overalls will be maintained by the company. Thus, no allowance for laundry uniforms will be provided in this case. 27.4. Uniform issue does not apply to casual employees.

O 3.01 STATUTORY HOLIDAY PAY All Full-time employees shall receive their day’s pay (minimum/maximum eight (8) hours) for each of the statutory holidays names in Article G 11.01, except where it is an employee’s day to work and he/she books off.

(e) All new employees shall receive the regular issue, plus four (4) additional shirts and one (1) additional pair of dress pants. Such issue for new employees shall be provided upon successful completion of the probationary period. If the next general issue takes place in less than six (6) months after the new employee(s) has received the initial issue, such employee(s) shall not be entitled to an additional issue. (f) For all uniform issues, other than the initial issue, Employees required to wear their uniform in the regular performance of their duties may elect issue to a maximum of 13.5 points per annum. All other employees shall be provided issue annually, as required to comply with Article 21.1(j) at the discretion of the Fire Chief. (g) Should an employee(s) elect to forego one item of an issue in order to receive an additional issue of another item, the employee(s) may do so at the discretion of the Fire Chief; it being understood that said employee(s) may only have issue to the limit of the point maximum per employee. (h) Annual points may not be transferred to another employee(s) and shall not be accumulative from year to year. (i) No employee's issue of any item may exceed double the standard issue. (j) It is understood between the parties that each employee shall have a complete presentable uniform issue available at all times. Uniform Issue. Any concerns with respect to the issue of uniforms will be addressed at the local level by an ad hoc committee composed of no more than three representatives of the employees and three representatives of the Employer. Meetings of the committee shall occur within 10 work days of a request to meet. If matters are not resolved by the local level it shall be addressed by the representatives of the employees at the District level. Employees shall not suffer any loss of basic pay for time spent on such committees.
Uniform Issue. Employees will be issued with 3 long sleeve shirts and 3 long trousers on commencement. If an employee leaves during probation a deduction will made for cost of the uniforms unless returned. Uniforms may be replaced on a fair “wear and tear” basis during the year. A further uniform allocation will be made of 2 long sleeve shirts and 2 pairs of long trousers after each year of service. Employees may purchase additional uniforms at any time. Employees must supply their own pair of Australia Standard approved lace up ankle safety boots.
