Flexi-time. 29.2.1 Subject to business and operational requirements, flexi time provides an employee with the opportunity to vary his/her start and/or finish times around the core business hours for the particular work area. It is not a way to permanently change hours of work. Subclause 29.1 'Variable hours' explains this option more fully.

Flexi-time. By agreement and subject to operational and roster requirements, employees will have the opportunity to arrange their work hours flexibly. The following principles will apply: • The standard flex-time bandwidth is 7.00am to 7.00pm with a minimum of 30 minutes for an unpaid meal break. • Flexible hours will be granted subject to local management approval and operational and roster requirements. • For the purpose of night shift the hours of 6pm to 9pm cannot be flexed. • Both full-time and part-time staff up to and including VPS Grade 5 may have access to flexible working hours. • At any given time employees can carry a credit of up to a maximum of 5 flex-days that can be banked and used per calendar year. Subject to service and operational requirements, employees, wherever possible, will not be prevented from taking accrued flexi-time due to inadequate staffing levels.
Flexi-time. 3.5.1(a) Flexi-time is a work arrangement to assist Employees (other than casuals) to maintain a balance between their work and personal life, and the business needs of Museums Victoria. Agreement to the working of Flexi-time will not be unreasonably withheld, and is available to Employees up to and including Grade 5. 3.5.1(b) Additional hours may be worked on the basis of Flexi-time at the instigation of the Employee and with the support of Museums Victoria. Accrued Flexi-time, reduced daily hours of work, or extended meal breaks may be taken subject to operational requirements and prior Employer approval. Additional hours worked under a Flexi-time arrangement, must not be worked on a regular basis and only to the limits specified in Clause 3.5.1(d).

No employee shall be required to take flex time off in order to avoid the payment of overtime or as a condition of continued employment.

  • Sick Time An employee shall have all of his/her accrued sick leave credits transferred when the employee is transferred to a different State agency.

  • Lunch Time The “duty free” lunch time for assistants will be the same length as the building lunch time for students provided that the lunch is no less than thirty (30) minutes in length.

  • Prep Time For full day 10-month (184 day) or 12-month (223 day) teachers, 45 minutes of uninterrupted daily prep time will be provided to each teacher to be used for professional activities (for example, classroom preparations, parent conferences, and peer consultations).

  • Wash-Up Time 60.01 Where the Employer determines that due to the nature of the work there is a clear cut need, wash-up time up to a maximum of ten (10) minutes will be permitted before the end of the working day, or immediately following and contiguous to the working day.

  • Pacific Time If enabled by Platform, the Same Day ACH means that the transfer will be performed within one (1) business day. Any same day ACH transfer scheduled after the cut-off time will be treated as if it were scheduled as next day ACH transfer. In some circumstances, transactions may be delayed for risk or compliance reasons.

  • Daylight Savings Time Employees required to work more than eight (8) hours on an eight (8) hour shift or more than ten (10) hours on a ten (10) hour shift due to the change from daylight savings time to standard time shall be paid for the additional hour worked at the rate of time and one-half (1-1/2). Employees required to work less than eight (8) hours on an eight (8) hour shift or less than ten (10) hours on a ten (10) hour shift due to the change from standard time to daylight savings time shall be paid for the actual hours worked. Employees may use vacation time or compensatory time to make up for the one (1) hour lost. Employees in the first six (6) months of employment who would be eligible to accrue vacation, may be advanced one (1) hour of vacation time which shall either be deducted from their vacation leave balance, or deducted from their last paycheck if the employee is separated prior to accruing vacation.
