Full-Time, Part-Time and Casual Employees. 8.1 A full time employee shall mean an employee who is engaged to work a minimum of 38 hours per week on average over 52 weeks of employment. However:

Full-Time, Part-Time and Casual Employees. (a) A full-time employee is defined as an employee who works and/or is paid for an average of at least thirty (30) hours per week. The average number of weekly hours shall be measured each calendar quarter. An employee shall not lose full-time status unless the employee fails to meet this thirty (30) hour definition for two (2) consecutive calendar quarters. The Westin shall advise an employee in writing when he/she fails any quarterly test, and further advise the employee of the employee’s change of status if he/she fails a second consecutive quarterly test. When business permits, management will strive to provide each full-time employee with forty (40) hours of work each week.

  • Full-Time and Part-Time Employees (a) The base rates of pay in the appropriate employment classification for full-time employees and for part-time employees shall be the hourly rates of pay set out in the Tables in Schedule B to this Agreement.

  • Regular Part-Time Employees A regular part-time employee is one who works less than full-time on a regularly scheduled basis. Regular part-time employees accumulate seniority on an hourly basis and are entitled to all benefits outlined in this Collective Agreement. Regular part-time employees shall receive the same perquisites, on a proportionate basis, as granted regular full-time employees.

  • Part-Time Employee Part-time employee" means an employee who is normally scheduled to work fewer than 80 hours in a biweekly payroll period.

  • Seasonal Employees Seasonal employees still on trial service should refer to Article 71, Sections 2 and 3 regarding salary increases.
