Function Code 145: Project Management. The Engineer, in association with the Project Manager shall be responsible for directing and coordinating all activities associated with the project to comply with policies and procedures, and to deliver that work on time.

Function Code 145: Project Management. PROJECT ADMINISTRATION AND COORDINATION The ENGINEER shall perform project administrative and coordination duties, including contract administration, project management, meeting minutes of all meetings and telephone conversations, and other related administrative tasks (e.g., direct costs). The ENGINEER shall prepare subcontracts for sub-consultants activities and review sub-consultant work and invoices. The ENGINEER shall provide ongoing quality assurance and quality control to provide completeness of product and compliance with STATE procedures associated with the project, including the following subtasks: • Project Management Plan – The ENGINEER shall prepare a Project Management Plan to be distributed to team members that includes contact information, roles and responsibilities, communication procedures, schedules, and Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) policies. The ENGINEER shall also manage the implementation of the plan and report on adherence of the various elements of the project relative to the approved Project Management Plan. The monthly progress reports shall include: Activities completed, initiated or ongoing, during the reporting period; Activities planned for the coming period; Problems encountered and actions to remedy them; Overall status, including a tabulation of percentage complete by task; Updated project schedule; Minutes of meetings and copies of monthly correspondence. • Correspondence - The ENGINEER shall prepare written materials, letters, survey forms etc. used to solicit information or collect data for the project and submit them to the STATE for review and approval prior to its use or distribution.
