FUNDING AND COSTS. Provisions pertaining to costs arising within the framework of the cooperation, thus administrative costs in particular, potential tuition fees and grantable support for Doctoral Students are comprised within Annex 2 of this Agreement.
FUNDING AND COSTS. A CRADA must also define the funding arrangement between the parties. Funding may be arranged in various ways. The participant may fund up to 100% of the work or the funding may be split between the BEA and the participant. The participant or BEA may provide funding through cash contributions or in-kind contributions (man hours, equipment, testing, etc.). However, a CRADA cannot be used as a mechanism to transfer Government cash for a participant’s services or Government property to the participant. Such arrangements are handled through subcon- tracting and procurement arrangements. In addition, all contributions by the Govern- ment are subject to available funding.
FUNDING AND COSTS. This MoU does not include the reimbursement or allocation of funds between the Parties. Any reimbursement or allocation of funds shall be set out in a separate Contract. Each Party shall continue to pay its own costs and expenses incurred in connection with the conclusion and/or implementation of this MoU.
FUNDING AND COSTS. 5.1 The total cost of the Project is estimated to be $2,410,000.00 excluding GST (“Project Cost”) as identified and enumerated in the Scope Documents.
5.2 WDC agrees to contribute to the Project Cost the sum of $100,000.00 excluding GST. For the remainder of the Project Cost Transit, CCC and ECan agree to contribute to the Project Cost on an equal basis so that each of the Parties shall contribute the sum of $770,000.00 excluding GST.
5.3 WDC agrees to pay the Parties from its contribution sum, up to a maximum of $50,000 a year, on receipt of invoices from any of the Parties in respect of the Project Cost.
5.4 Notwithstanding anything else in this Agreement, any variation in the Project Cost as specified in clause 5.1, or any part of it, and any variation in the Parties’ contributions to the Project Cost specified in clause 5.2 shall require the prior written agreement of the Parties before being implemented.
5.5 Each of the Funding Partners shall bear its own administration costs, which may be incurred in relation to the Project, which cost shall not be included within the Project Cost.
5.6 The Parties shall each be entitled to incur costs as shall be contemplated or permitted by the Scope Documents or as shall be permitted by the Parties by unanimous agreement which costs shall form part of the Project Cost (such costs referred to in this agreement individually as a “Joint Cost” or collectively as “Joint Costs”), but not otherwise incur costs that they wish to have treated as Joint Costs unless specified in this Agreement. Any of the Parties incurring a Joint Cost shall be entitled to reimbursement upon demand from the other Parties of such cost to the extent that each of the Parties shall be liable for a one third (1/3) share of each cost.
5.7 Where any amount expressed in this Agreement is stated to exclude GST, GST shall be added to that amount.
5.8 This Agreement is subject, as a condition precedent, to all the Funding Partners obtaining on terms and conditions satisfactory to themselves sufficient funding from Land Transport New Zealand to enable each to participate in the Project, such funding to be obtained within three (3) months of the date of this Agreement.

Pearson recognises that the Trust may seek additional funding and collaboration with other persons, organisations and companies, but that Pearson retains headline sponsor status for the Collaboration as per 5.4 above.

The Universities will each cover their own indirect costs arising from academic liaison, co-ordination and staff development. Regulatory Bodies The parties agree that each University will provide such information regarding the Student as is required or requested by any Regulatory Body. Research Data The University agrees and acknowledges that any publically funded Research Data generated during the course of this Agreement will be made widely and freely available to all persons subject to the following lawful exemptions: that the availability of such Research Data does not jeopardise the Research; the exemptions set out in Part II of the Freedom of Information Xxx 0000, notably those associated with confidential and commercially sensitive information; the exemptions set out in Section 12 of the EIR; the Data Protection Laws; and any other Applicable Law as may be enacted from time to time. Use of Name and Logos Each University must obtain the other’s prior written consent in advance for any use of the other University’s name and/or logo in any printed or electronic publicity and promotional material. The Student will comply with the applicable Policies and Regulations regarding the use of each University’s name and/or logo. Data Protection The parties will comply with the relevant Data Protection Laws. Additionally, the Student will comply with the applicable Policies and Regulations of each University regarding Data Protection Laws. FUNDING AND COSTS. 4.1 The grant relates to costs for operation and scientific equipment (annual depreciation cost). Each Party will receive funds in NEAR from KI under the Grant. The funds received by the Party shall be used in accordance with this Agreement and the provisions set out in the annexes to this Agreement.
4.2 Within the framework of the funding below, KI shall pay compensation to each Party from the Grant as shown in Table 1 below. The Steering Committee will decide on a more detailed Annual Operating Budget on the basis of Table 1. The remuneration will be paid twice a year, provisionally in February and August. The Annual Operating Budget for the first year of operation of NEAR shall be established at the first meeting of the Steering Committee. It shall then be monitored and adjusted annually.
4.3 NEAR shall be funded by the participating Parties and the Swedish Research Council as specified in the Special Conditions and the Budget. In summary, this means that each Party’s commitments in NEAR shall be funded at least 50% by Co-funding, and the remainder by the Grant from the Swedish Research Council. Table 1 below shows the distribution of the grant from the Swedish Research Council, expressed in thousands of Swedish kronor (SEK thousands). 4.4 Pursuant to the Conditions, KI as the Asset Manager may decide to suspend, in whole or in part, the disbursement of a grant awarded to a Party that fails to comply with the conditions defined by the Swedish Research Council or the conditions set out in this Agreement. KI may not withhold funds granted to a Party if the Party has taken corrective action within 30 days of a written request to do so.
4.5 The Parties agree that NEAR should have a common model for user fees. The level of user fees decided by the individual Centres shall not conflict with the common model.
