The University agrees. 3.5.1 not to interrupt the Student's occupation of the Accommodation more than is reasonably necessary, particularly during examination periods but acknowledging the requirement to show parts of accommodation on University open days - details of which are published in advance and made available to all students on the University's website; 3.5.2 before the end of the first week of the Licence Period to provide the Student with information and advice on: a. action to be taken in the event of an emergency, including emergency contact details, how to call an ambulance, where to get first aid, and how to report an accident or safety defect; b. health & safety matters such as how to avoid common fire risks; safe cooking in the designated areas of the Residence and why cooking in the Accommodation is a safety risk and in breach of this Agreement; electrical safety and voltage differences; the dangers of using candles, incense sticks or other naked flames or storing flammable material; fire extinguishers; the possibility of disciplinary action or criminal proceedings for mis-use of fire precautions equipment; c. how to gain access to the Accommodation in the event of the Student losing keys/key-cards; d. cleaning schedules and the Student's responsibilities for cleaning (where applicable); x. the respective roles and responsibilities of the University and its students; f. health, welfare and guidance on communal living; g. where to get advice on financial difficulties; h. where to get counselling assistance; i. how to register with a local health service; x. the management structure for the Residence and contact details of the Residence warden, Hall Manager and main Reception, with out-of-hours emergency contact details; x. any special arrangements made to help with any disability the Student may have disclosed to the University; 3.5.3 to give a receipt for any of the Student's property which is confiscated under the terms of this Agreement; 3.5.4 to ensure security staff are clearly identified, and that any staff or contractors requiring access to the Accommodation carry and allow the Student to inspect appropriate identification documents; 3.5.5 to ensure clear and appropriate instructions for use are given for any equipment which the Student needs to operate in the Residence; Much of this information and advice can be found in the current students’ website (xxxx://xxx.xxx.xx.xx/accommodation/current-students/ );

The University agrees a. The University will provide a room accommodation to the student for a timeframe of one contract period. This is excluding any break period when the University is officially closed unless the Resident has specifically requested housing designated as open for break periods. Residential services (including access to the assigned complex and room) begin on the assigned move-in day. b. The University will provide residence hall staff in accordance with University policy and provide a living experience which compliments the academic mission of the University. c. The University will provide a reasonable amount of light, heat, electricity, and hot water. Student rooms shall be furnished with a bed, mattress, drawer space, desk (including chair), and wardrobe/closet space. d. The University agrees to provide connectivity for internet.
The University agrees. To retain complete responsibility and authority over all academic aspects of the Programs, including planning and implementing curriculum for its Students, and accreditation of the Programs. UNIVERSITY shall conduct evaluations, maintain all grades and records, and conduct any UNIVERSITY disciplinary processes in the regular course of its business of educating its Students and in accordance with all applicable UNIVERSITY policies and procedures. To establish and maintain communication with the Field Instructor on items pertinent to the Field Experience; such communication may include, but not necessarily be limited to, a description of the curriculum, relevant course outlines, policies, faculty, and major changes in this information. To notify the FACILITY no less than ten (10) days before the start of the Field Experience of the (i) name(s) and contact information for Student(s), (ii) dates and hours of assignment(s), (iii) each Student’s academic class designation, and (iv) the UNIVERSITY’s philosophy, purpose, and learning objective(s). To refer to the FACILITY only those Students who have satisfactorily completed the prerequisite portion of the curriculum which is applicable to the Field Experience. To notify Students: (a) that they are required to comply with all policies and procedures of FACILITY, including those regarding confidentiality of client records and information; (b) that they must conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times; and (c) that they should promptly notify UNIVERSITY and FACILITY, as appropriate, of any concerns or problems which arise during the course of the Field Experience. To require Students to maintain, in the amount of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $3,000,000 in the aggregate, professional liability insurance, if requested by FACILITY in writing. To encourage each Student participating in the Field Experience to acquire comprehensive health and accident insurance that will provide continuous coverage of Student during his/her participation in the Field Experience. To inform Student that he/she is responsible for their own health needs, health care costs, and health insurance coverage. To identify a Field Instructor to facilitate activities and communication between UNIVERSITY and FACILITY. The Field Instructor shall be responsible for, among other things, orienting the Student to FACILITY; providing supervision; teaching and conveying subject matter knowledge, value, ethics, and skills relevant to Studentsa...
The University agrees. The University will provide a room accommodation to the student for a period of one agreement period (see Agreement Periods, section 16) exclusive of vacation periods or any other period when the University is officially closed unless the Resident has specifically requested the latter type housing on the Housing & Dining Application. An additional fee will be assessed for housing provided outside of the regular agreement period. The University agrees to assign a university faculty liaison to facilitate communication between university and site; to notify the student that he/she must adhere to the administrative policies, rules, standards, schedules, and practices of the site; that the faculty liaison shall be available for consultation with both site supervisors and students and shall be immediately contacted should any problem or change in relation to student, site or university occur; and that the university supervisor is responsible for the assignment of a fieldwork grade. The University agrees. A. To appoint a faculty member as the Field Education Director for the Program and to administer the University's responsibilities related to it. B. To notify the Organization Liaison and the Organization, at a time mutually agreed upon, of its planned schedule of student assignments, including the name and academic preparation of the student. The Field Education Director shall negotiate internship assignments and prepare students for placement with field organizations. C. To advise assigned students that they will be subject to the Organization’s policies, procedures, organizational protocols, rules and regulations and all reasonable directions given by qualified Facility Personnel while providing services pursuant to this Agreement. D. To advise assigned students that they will be subject to the Organization’s rules related to security and protection of the Organization’s Protected Health Information (“PHI”), and that they may not, therefore, either retain PHI outside of the Organization or disclose PHI to anyone outside of the Organization, except as required by law. The University shall advise students that, for purposes of compliance with the Health Insurance and Portability Accountability Act (“HIPAA”), students are considered “work force members,” defined as individuals who are given access to the Organization’s PHI, and that PHI means any information, whether oral or recorded in any form or medium, created or received by students and: (i) that relates to the past, present or future physical or mental condition of the patient; the provision of health care to the patient; or the past, present or future payment for the provision of health care to the patient; and (ii) that identifies the individual or with respect to which there is reasonable basis to believe the information can be used to identify the patient and shall have the same meaning as the term “protected health information” defined in the Code of Federal Regulations (45 CFR § 164.501). To assume responsibility for assuring compliance with applicable educational standards as required by the Council on Social Work Education, and to oversee required academic and instructional content of the Program. The University agrees. (a) that the Student may use and occupy an assigned residence room, which room will be assigned to the Student by the University and which may be changed from time to time by agreement in writing between the University and the Student (the "premises"); and (b) to provide meals, as contracted for by the Student, to the Student, for the period outlined below if assigned to traditional housing. First-year undergraduate students are entitled tooccupytheir roomsafter 9:00 a.m., Saturday,September 2, 2017. Returning, graduate, and transfer students are entitled to occupy their rooms after 9:00 a.m., Monday, September 4, 2017. The Residence closes at term end in December and April immediately after the last examination scheduled in the regular Arts and Social Sciences/Science timetable. In all cases, the Student must vacate the Residence within 24 hours of his or her final examination in each academic term. Residence Fee 2. The Student agrees to pay to the University the appropriate Residence rate, as outlined in the 2017-2018 Residence Room Rates sheet. Accounts are payable in full at registration, or in two instalments, the first term to be paid on or before September 18, 2017, and the second to be paid on or before January 19, 2018. Student Status 3. The Student acknowledges and agrees that he/she is entitled to occupy the premises only so long as he/she is enrolled as a full-time student in good standing at the University. In the event that the Student ceases to be a full-time student in good standing, he/she shall vacate the premises within twenty-four (24) hours of the date upon which he/she ceased to hold such status, unless alternate arrangements are approved in writing by the University. The Student ac- knowledges that staff at the University will access the University's student records system from time to time to verify the academic status of the Student.
